I took a homiletics class with Dr. Delnay in the late 1990s, and for some reason I didn't read his book until just now. While some of the material shows wear, that's just what happens with the passing of time: considering when this book came out, we can forgive him for talking about cassette players. Still, the principles hold sound. One line of text I can hear him saying in that soft, intense way that he had: "Preach to the whites of their eyes." (As is my custom, I forego a star rating when acquainted with the author.)
