A good and quick read. Meant for Christian leaders, it provides 8 simple yet important aspects of leadership geared around organization culture.

This book is not for you if you believe women are an essential part of leadership. The title “Steer,” is based on a mistake his wife made while riding a bike. He doesn’t talk about any specific mistakes that he has made as a leader and has 0 women in leadership in his church as elders or pastors. This is a huge church with 10 male pastors and 8 male elders. There are a couple women “directors,” but they are in charge of kids, women’s ministries, and social media.

This book includes some basic leadership advice that is not all bad, however a lot of the advice is based on Bible verses taken out of context.

Too many red flags for me.
