Ninveh: The Light of Love and The Meaning of Life

Rate this book
The secret code to the meaning of life is finally revealed.

The question “what is the meaning of mankind’s existence?”, has been an enigma for generations. This unique book offers an answer to this ageless question and explains the reason why it was kept as a secret for so long.

Ninveh is the code name for the newly born interpretation of the meaning of our individual and collective existence. This book offers a new point of view, in light of which life could be:

• An experience of inner strength

• An abundant - of and in - relationships, brotherhood, commitment, and compassion

• An existence blessed with serenity

Ninveh is based on the notions that our existence is not a random occurrence and that it has a comprehensive organizing principle. It also offers new perspectives on life; both theoretical and practical, enabling all of us to make a better life for ourselves and our world.

‘The array of the Experiment-Experience-Experiencing’

Israeli author Dr. Shoshana Zimmerman, both a University lecturer on Literature, Creativity, and New Age Theories, and a Spiritual Counselor with the gift for channeling: she uses this gift to teach spiritual awareness. As she states, ‘one day, while listening to my inner voice, I went on a four-week water fast and wrote this book. It came to me in its complete form and the feeling I had while writing it was of excitement and spiritual uplifting. Upon finishing the book, I understood that I now have the answer to the meaning of life and that I need to share it with as many people as possible.’

The tone of this fascinating book is set in the Introduction: ‘From the beginning of time, an inexplicable urge, at times sharp and clear and at times indistinct and vague, compels human beings to pursue the meaning of human existence on Earth. When unfulfilled, this drive is converted to the pursuit of “more”—of everything: more love, more money and pleasure, more physical and mental health, more knowledge. Yet even when more and more of all these are achieved, the Big Question still resonates: Why? What is the meaning of man’s life here? What is mankind’s purpose? These questions arise in full force whenever one experiences difficulty, pain and suffering, and towards the end of one’s life, or that of one’s loved ones. The classical sacred writings of the various religions, give no information that can help to decipher the meaning of life. For example, in the story of creation in the Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. Nowhere in the bible, does it explicitly say WHY . . . however, much is written in the annals of leadership, philosophy, thought and knowledge, about the question of HOW we should conduct ourselves in this world, in a manner most, becoming, befitting and worthy. The cardinal guidelines for life’s journey, have always been a commendation to live a life of love, giving and acceptance, flowing with whatever comes to pass, guiding our thoughts and feelings to conversion of the negative to the positive. We are taught to care for body and soul, and to be persistently watchful to reveal the illusion of separate existence in order to heal obstructions and connect with a loving and guiding inner self, which is higher than the everyday self. However, in general, there is no mention of why we are living here in this world, and why we must experience pain and suffering along with all the good and the pleasurable. In light of the assumption that the existence of mankind is not a random occurrence, and that indeed there is an organizing binding comprehensive principle, and in light of the assumption that the meaning of human existence was kept a secret until our time, but is now in the process of revelation, the book Ninveh: The Light of Love and the Meaning of Life was written.’

In an inviting poetic format the concepts of the meaning of life are shared – a very apropos presentation that invites participation in this journey to understanding. This is a book to absorb slowly and insightfully, growing in awareness.
