I like this collection and writer a lot! She’s local, she’s talented, and I heard her read a few months ago, which is how I knew about her. I like the heavy use of imagery from the natural world and the exploration of place and family/family history. Favorites were “The Slip,” “The Wall: Haiku from A Gated Community,” and “Second Coming.”
