The author has added a new DOS tutorial and lab activities for using the Turbo 7.0 system, and given increased focus to the issue of how to write a program. The concept of procedures is introduced early in chapter 4 (in connection with top down programming design), and then is covered in detail in chapters 10 and 11, making it easy to cover or omit as needed.
