generally informative, concise, and funny. I've only been on a handful of the hikes listed, but the descriptions seem totally accurate. I wish the author had left out all the sub-one-mile, 30-minute nature trails that barely qualify as hikes, to make room for more five to ten mile hikes of moderate difficult. I can't really imagine the audience for a 0.5 mile nature trail is the same as for a 12 mile full day trek.
