7 Mór Dark Tales

Rate this book
This collection of seven short stories is a startling and imaginative take on the fairy tale form. Inspired by the tales of Hans Christian Andersen, each one takes strange, unexpected, and sometimes dark twists. The text is exquisitely written in prose poetry form with evocative and sometimes spine-chilling imagery. The beautiful presentation includes stunning full color illustrations and several black-and-white woodcut-style illustrations by Wendy Straw. The book is a follow-up title to 7 Dark Tales .

About the author

Christine Grace is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright. She has worked for many years as an actor and director.
Her radio play 'Beyond Belgium,' can be downloaded from Radio National, starring Belinda McLory and Brian Lipson.
Christine's next book '7 Mor Dark Tales,' has just been released. It is an eerily beautiful collection of stories inspired by the work of Hans Christian Andersen but infused with contemporary themes, imagery and language. A companion to Christine Grace's first book in the series, '7 Dark Tales,' it reinforces the enduring relevance of the fairy tale form to modern readers. Both books are embellished with stunning color plates and line illustrations by Wendy Straw.
