Fleeing the aftermath of his recent divorce, Draco Malfoy takes up a post as the new Potions Master at Hogwarts. At first he believes his hopes for a fresh start are dashed when he sees that a certain boyhood rival is on staff there as well. But Harry Potter is being weirdly nice to him, leaving Draco no choice but to play along. As Draco reckons with his ex-wife's infidelity and questions about his own sexuality, he finds himself going to an openly gay Potter for guidance. As their friendship deepens, Draco realizes that there is quite a lot that Potter can teach him. And that he is surprisingly ready to learn.

A Secondary Education: ★ ★ ★

Thunderbird587

Tropes:
– Draco/Harry fanfiction
– Workplace romance (professors)
– Friends with benefits to lovers
– Lessons in sex
– Reformed playboy

Reeling from a divorce, Draco gets a new job at Hogwarts to get away from it all only now playboy Harry's here and Draco's starting to learn a whole lotta things about himself that he didn't realize before. So when Harry agrees to teach him, he has to be quite careful not to fall in love.

So, this was all fluff and smut with a side of OM drama. Draco's extremely thick in the head in this one, but it's to be expected from one of them. Seeing Harry become the reformed playboy, though? Chefs kiss. Just wanted more emotional connection from them but the spice was spicyyyyyyyy.

Okay, this has become one of my Drarry favorites!

I really love the author's especially detailed and OH SO SPICY take on Draco and Harry's evolving adulthood (and Draco's later-in-life realization that he's bi, which resonated with me personally) and romantic relationships (yes, plural, but you have to read the story to find out more 😏), despite the torture of their breakup and its aftermath. 😉  Because all's well that ends well!

very cute. I thought the ending dragged a little but the final chapter made me happy and I smiled the whole time. I wish there was a little more from the other characters though. I wanted more interactions and friendship building.

So much high quality citrus (I'm an old-school fanfic reader), I thought I was going to self immolate from the amount I was blushing when I was reading parts of this on my lunch break.
