Runner is a young man trying to survive in a post nuclear world. The book is written from his perspective and his view of the world is very narrow in the beginning of the story. Life, as it always does, happens and his eyes are opened. I'm not sure if this is a first book from this author, if so, I would expect a smoother story line in the next offering. Some sections were rather choppy while others seemed to abruptly add dialogue that really didn't make sense. The story itself is an interesting take on life after a nuclear event.
If anyone reads this and finds it to be "worthwhile" ...please let me know! I could not believe the state of this book. This was...PUBLISHED?! Hell, I could be published then! 😒
