A SS. Western Adventure Thriller Novel (CRB. - 2)/Unexpected Company

SS. has. penned the second novel in the Cal Rivers western series. A gang has moved into the area and they are attempting to run everyone off. At first, the thought process works. Then the local populace side up to the fact that they have allowed a wolf into the hen house. The new arrivals are doing everything and destroying what they can to get the fish and surrounding areas. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

A very descriptive and heartwarming series of exciting western adventures filled with never ending gunfights, romancing and entertaining revelations of extraordinary forms of justice. Worthy of your few pennies and time is well spent. Cal Rivers sets a very fast pace and never has the time to look back and say what just happened!

As all other books in this series, definitely five stars renditions of old American western folklore stories that certainly touches the heartstrings of an reader. There are ongoing adventures that immediately touches your heartstrings, and you will find all of these episodes consistently compassionate to follow.
Too, each and every storyline will definitely touch your heartstrings, as the characters are certainly befitting of their assigned roles almost to perfection. Mr. Settle is what I am privileged to call a " Master Author" of western folklore stories, as well as a creator of purely designed justice!
Without any hesitation,I definitely recommend this book, as well as all others in this series to all dedicated reader, regardless of your desired reading preference. I made one mistake, and that, somehow, I read book three before book two. Regardless, all were outstandingly written and definitely worthy of your time!😂

Cal’s Vendetta

Cal was in love long ago, he had a woman but he heard that she died in childbirth. He left and didn’t know he had twin sons.

He remarried and started a new family. A new man comes in town and causes problems. He kills on of Cal’s brother in-law.
Burns the school house down taking one life and nearly killing his young son.
When another man comes in to save his son he is thankful and offers the man a job and he takes it, he learns the man is also his son.

Good story bit violent but still a good book.
