I love the sound of this book. I can never make it through the book silently. Somewhere in the middle I always find myself whispering the words aloud ("There's a train going by my window/ Chucka-chucka-chuck, chucka-choo/ It's going all around the world/ I want to go too.") The story is a nice blend of travel, learning about different countries and the animals that live in them, while still being silly (tangoing with penguins). The illustrations have a certain static quality, they seem like paintings that have been cut out and collaged, but they work.
