Falling Deep Into You by Terra Kelly is a beautiful story about new love with a crime/mystery element. Miles Callahan is a cop with Toronto's Emergency Task Force. When a case goes bad and he ends up in the hospital the charge nurse assigned to him is Preslie Summers. Preslie doesn't realize but ghosts from her past are about to return and change her life forever.
This was my first time reading Terra Kelly's work and by no means is it my last. I really enjoyed this novel. Not only did Terra develop her main characters perfectly for us to become attached to them and want that HEA, but I ended this novel wanting to know more about the sub-characters and wanting to know which one will book two feature. If you are looking for a honest, unique read then pick this up. 5 Stars for Falling Deep Into You by Terra Kelly!

This was my first time reading Terra Kelly's work and by no means is it my last. I really enjoyed this novel. Not only did Terra develop her main characters perfectly for us to become attached to them and want that HEA, but I ended this novel wanting to know more about the sub-characters and wanting to know which one will book two feature. If you are looking for a honest, unique read then pick this up. 5 Stars for Falling Deep Into You by Terra Kelly!

Miles and Preslie are 2 very likeable characters, he's a married cop, she's a nurse. Their story isn't made up of hearts and flowers, it's made up of emotional struggles, pain and suffering, both experience loss in different ways, but their need for each others support makes for a beaututiful romances. It's not all doom and gloom for Miles and Preslies, they have a healthy dose of sex and romance.
Falling Deep Into You has a good collection of supporting characters it will be nice to see this as a cross over series and each get their own book... now I'm off to check out Terra's food blog www.cafeterrablog.com

Falling Deep Into You is the first book in the Torn Pieces series and is Miles Callahan and Preslie Summers story.
Miles is the lead cop with Toronto's Emergency Task Force, he is seriously injured on the job and ends up in the ICU. Preslie is an ICU nurse and she is charged with Miles's care. The two leads have an instant connection and they cannot deny their attraction for each other. When Preslie's life is threatened by her stalker ex-boyfriend, Miles steps in to protect her.
Falling Deep Into You is a great start to the series. Unlike Terra Kelly's previous works, this is a romantic suspense novel and, after reading it, I can honestly say that she is as good at writing this genre as she is at contemporary romance. Preslie and Miles were very likable characters and I was routing for their HEA from the beginning. There was a perfect mix of romance, suspense and steam and it is hard to believe that this is the authors first venture into romantic suspense. Falling Deep Into You also introduces some great supporting characters and I hope to read more about them in future books. Terra Kelly has once again produced a well written and addictive page turner and I hope I do not have to wait too long for the next book in the series! This is a must read for romantic suspense fans and I urge you to dive in to the Torn Pieces series.

I just finished reading Falling Deep Into You and I can't say enough good things about the start of Terra's new series!! Miles Callahan is the lead singer of TornPieces and a lead cop on the Emergency Task Force in Toronto, Canada. He is seriously injured during a drug bust that goes wrong, in which he loses his best friend, Sgt. Ed "Eddy" Simmons. Preslie Summers is an ICU nurse at the main hospital in Toronto. Her best friend, Vikki knows of Preslie's love of cops and has her assigned to room 325, Miles' room. Miles is married at this time, but learns that his marriage is in jeopardy during this time. Preslie broke up with boyfriend David six months ago, after he almost hit her. He acted like he was fine with the split, but now she fears for life. Will Angie and Miles get a divorce? Will Miles and Preslie get to know one another? What is going to happen with David? I don't want to give any spoilers, but I promise you won't be disappointed by reading this book!! You will find laughter, tears, suspense, love, friendship and a whole lot more in this book!! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!

I finish reading this book and my sweet lord this book is intense.
Miles Callahan have the perfect life, a band Torn Pieces, the perfect family, a wife and two beautiful childrens
And he have is dream job, a lead cop on the Emergency Task Force in Toronto, and one day everything changes because he almost died on a dug bust.
He lost is best friend and partner and lost something more.
Preslie Summers is an ICU nurse at the hospital where Sargent Callahan is sent to treatment, and her secret is that she loves cops.
She have her dream job as well,and her best friend vicki who works with her, until her ex boyfriend try to kill her in the parking lot of the hospital. And then her life changes.
They meet in a unpleasent situation but the inevitable happens.
Terra captivated me from the first page. I couldn´t put the book down.
It´s a raw, intense, passionate story. My advice to you all, please read this book because you will not regret it.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book.
*sigh*, Miles. I have to start with him because, well he's perfect. I have no shame in admitting I am 100% in love with this fictional man. He's so kind hearted and full of just, such pure goodness, I dare you not to fall in love with him too! Also, Preslie's pretty damn awesome!
I shan't give away any spoilers about what happens, but damn! Miles and Preslie bond through mutual hard times, they both survives extremely traumatic events, yet remain so well spirited and positive, I just love them. They are obviously attracted to each other from the start, but it's at a time where acting on it is pretty impossible. As fate would have it, through the tough times, they are able to spend a lot of time together and build such a beautiful connection, they're just amazing!
Obviously, they are faced with many obstacles and challenges, can they work through them all? Well you'll have to read it, won't you? ;)
This is unlike any story I've read. It's tragic, but beautiful. It made me ugly-cry, yet completely swoon. I highly recommend this book!

This is my second taste of Kelly’s work, and I am a goner. Falling Deep into You, her new release, exceeded my already high expectations. Here is my honest opinion of her work.
The beginning of the book instantly grabbed my attention. There is nothing worse than a story that starts off slowly, and I am honestly one to stop reading after a page or two. This is certainly not the case. From the first sentence, Kelly commanded me to read on, and I was eager to oblige. The circumstances surrounding how Miles and Preslie meet are less than pleasant, which makes how they came together even sweeter.
I had several moments where I was blown away. Kelly did a wonderful job keeping me on the edge of my seat. Looking back on it, I’m annoyed that I couldn’t pick up the hints she dropped, but that just means that Kelly went above and beyond her job.
This is an excellent book, and I highly recommend it. Whether this is your first taste of Terra Kelly’s work or you’re a huge fan, you’ll fall in deep, too.

What an amazing love story... I loved this second chance love story, but its not just a love story its mystery/tragedy/heartbreak and suspense.
Miles Callahan is a hot cop and the lead Singer of the rock band TornPieces. while on a drug bust he is seriously injured. While he is in the hospital his wife of ten years decides she can't live with the pressure of being a cops wife not knowing if today is the day she gets the call that he is never come home. It seems like things for Miles are going down hill..Until he sees his nurse again.
Preslie is a beautiful ICU nurse, she is assigned to be Miles nurse. Preslie just happens to have a thing for men in uniform. She also has a crazy ex- boyfriend who is trying to kill her for unknown reasons.
I absolutely loved this book Terra Kelly is an amazing author. The chemistry between her charter's are amazing. Loved that her Charters were older. I highly recommend this book.

Miles is the perfect package he is a Cop by day and hot lead singer of Torn Pieces at night, he gets seriously injured and ends up in hospital and that is where he meets Preslie.
Preslie is a the Nurse assigned to look after Miles while he is in hospital, she is a strong, loveable woman who goes through a lot before finding her happiness.
Miles & Preslie certainly don't have it easy before finding happiness together.
Overall i enjoyed this book it was suspenseful, action packed and great development of the sub characters that leaves me wanting more from them especially Vikki's story.

Preslie Summers is the nurse that is in charge of taking care of Miles. She is a beautiful soul. But there are shadows lurking that she can't see.
Will these two be able to overcome all the obstacles that are surrounding them? When ones safety is put in danger can one help the other. Read this to find out.

This is the start of an amazing series. This story is about two people that are dealing with some distressing issues in their lives. Miles is a policeman that has been injured during a drug bust, loses his best friend and his marriage is falling apart now he is being taken to the hospital that ICU nurse Preslie works at. Preslie and Miles are attracted to each other but Miles is married and Preslie is still dealing with a bad breakup from an abusive ex-boyfriend. These two form a friendship that slowly turns into more. When the past comes back into Preslie’s life Miles is there to save her but what about his marriage? This was a great story with humor and suspense that I really became caught up in. The story moved at a steady pace and I could not wait to see how it would unfold.

What a start to a story! Terra Kelly drops us straight into the action right from the start, It definitely got my attention and I was captivated till the very end! Miles is a cop and is injured in the line of duty, the hospital is where he meets the gorgeous Preslie. Preslie is a nurse at the hospital and has a bit of a thing for police men!
Nothing runs smoothly for the couple at first, two major problems 1.Miles is married! 2.Preslie has a pyscho ex after her! Things start to work out, after a bunch of very intense moments! I'm not going into anymore detail! I can say this book is action packed, full of suspense, and passion!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more from Terra Kelly!

Falling Deep Into You by Terra Kelly is a #1 hit on the charts for me. This beautifully written story was full of romance, suspense, love, sweetness and wonderful characters. Miles a cop/Lead singer of a rock band, how much hotter can you get. Preslie is a beautiful sweet ICU nurse that takes care of Miles. I would highly recommend this book, it is a must read for anyone. I am hoping there will be more books to come with Vikki and Ricky's stories.
This was my first book by Terra Kelly and I am excited to have found her and have more stories to read.

This is my second book I have read by Ms. Kelly. Falling Deep into you is the first book in Torn Pieces Series. While I was forewarned when I received my ARC, that this was out of her comfort zone and wasn't sure what to expect. Ms. Kelly has a wonderful way of weaving stories together. I loved Miles cop by day band by night, and Preslie the nurse who broke it off with him awhile ago. Sweet, sexy and full of suspense, three elements I love together in a book I don't believe anyone will disagree that out of her comfort zone writing agrees with Ms. Kelly. I certainly look forward to more in this series from her.

Wow, I loved this book! I was drawn in within the first few lines and devoured it in one sitting. I loved Miles and how protective he was, Preslie was so strong considering someone wanted to kill her. Vicki is the BFF everyone should have! This is the first book of Terra's I've read but it certainly won't be the last. I can't recommend this book enough

The story begins with cop Miles Callahan struggling to survive after being shot when a drug bust goes wrong. In addition to struggling for his recovery, his marriage is also not well, and he is surprised by a divorce soon after returning home.
At the hospital, he is taken care of by nurse Preslie, who lives her life normally, until she begins to be threatened by her ex-boyfriend.
Miles is assigned to protect Preslie, who is staying with her friend, Vikkie.
The story is full of twists and turns. The characters are very well written.
I loved the story and I'm anxious to reading more of this series.
I highly recommend the reading.

This story features Miles, a Cop and Lead Singer of a band, who gets injured on the job and Preslie, his ICU nurse, who deals with a vengeful ex. Miles is dealing with his own relationship troubles and soon these two begin to bond. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next.
This story grabbed my heart and just wouldn't let go. I liked all the attention to detail and characters and can't wait to see who the next book is about. This book was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!

Miles is a rocker/policeman and is injured on a police mission and has landed him in the hospital. trying to mend himself and wondering if can mend his marriage , he's drawn to his charge nurse Preslie . Preslie has just ended her relationship with her boyfriend due to it getting close to being abusive and she thought everything was fine, but past demons start to become reality. I really enjoyed this book, the flow and all the great characters. I loved it.

I love the romance between Miles and Preslie. The heartbreak they go through separately just seems to sew them together jointly. There are twists and turns throughout the book, and the emotions run high, but there's also times (only a few) that you can see certain things happening. Terra Kelly has a way with words, that keeps you entertained and on edge for hours. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Falling deep into you
What an emotional read. But I Would not change anything about it. The things had to happen this way for the story to be beautiful and so full of life. I really enjoyed the characters and thought they were very well put together. Both of the main characters back stories are unique and its interesting to watch and se their connection grow they way it did. I could not have asked for a better book to read

preslie is a nurse that has an ex boyfriend that is stalking and harrassing her. miles is a cop that was shot on duty and was admitted in the hospital preslie was working and she also saw to his needs. miles was discharged from the hospital with his wife and kids and his wife told hi she wanted a divorce. i love how preslie and miles gets close and heal from heartache and try to put pieces together. an awesome read.

Falling Deep Into you is a good mixture of Romance and Crime story, beautifully written. Terra Kerry certainly knows how to get the ingredients right. After reading this beautiful and hair raising story, I understand why most women are fascinated by a man in uniform and Miles doesn’t disappoint. I like Preslie and her best friend Vikki. That’s what I call true friendship, being there for each other no matter what.
It’s a great story, I enjoyed it very much.

This book was definitely something else. Terra Kelly moved out of her comfort zone and there's no lying, she rocked that shit. Miles and Presley have been through hell, but they sure find their personal heaven with each other.

This was a great romance story. You have a cop who's life is almost falling apart after getting shot, losing a partner and a wife who wants a divorce. A nurse who has an ex boyfriend comes back to kill her. Miles and Preslie meets at the right time in their lives to save each other. I love this book.

I think this maybe my new favorite of Terrra's now. I absolutely love a book that pulls you in from the start and it happens here. I love miles and need answers. So much going on in this story and very different from her other books. Great story but wow I need answers... book 2 hurry

Miles Callahan is a police officer and gets shot in three places. Preslie Summers is his nurse in the hospital. Preslie’s best friend Vicki had assigned her to his room as Preslie secretly loved cops. Miles had a wife and two kids, but the day he was released his wife asked for a divorce after ten years of marriage. Miles was upset and angry.
One night after her shift, Preslie was in the parking garage and her ex David accosted her telling her she belonged with him and would have choked her to death if one of the cops that had visited Miles had not passed by. Preslie would not press charges, but the policeman told his squad about the guy and sent a picture to everyone. The policeman felt that the way David looked and acted he would try again. You will need to read the book to see what happens.

Fast paced, action packed and full of drama, Falling Deep Into You keeps the reader's interest all the way through. I loved Miles with his easy laugh and protective attitude and the way in which he went the extra mile to keep Presley safe when he ex boyfriend escalates his violence against her. The fact that he got shot in the line of duty was bad enough, but when Presley is at risk of losing her life not once but three times, it almost drives Miles over the edge. I understand that this is a revised edition of the book, and I found that the editing and spelling were good. The story also flowed smoothly and easily. I was however, left with a few unanswered questions and felt that although the plot is good, there are some loose ends.Otherwise, this is a most entertaining read. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
