Wish I could say I read this in the original Chinese unfortunately that is not currently a tool in my tool box but this was the closest I could find on Goodreads to the translation I did read. The prescience of the authors is sometimes such that I had to remind myself how long ago it was written. In other places I had to remember how much technology had improved since it was written, often making the tactics they describe much easier.

It was ok. To some extent it was just the pontifications of 2 Chinese military men without any self introspection into China. All the things they said the US struggles with China does too and more. Some good points were made but overall pretty basic.
