Tales of Justus Blackburn: Vampire Regulator

Rate this book
Justus Blackburn was a southern militia leader during the Civil War. A good old boy with passion, heart and a tendency to love fighting more than any man in the south. He was betrayed by a Confederate Captain and he and his soldiers died on the battlefield.

When a vampire came across their bodies and fed, Justus rose again and discovered his new life as a vampire. Now he rides the open road hoping to kill as many Yankees as he can, but also finds trouble makers, monsters and mischief along the way.

To hide his vampire abilities, he took up bounty hunting to feed his pockets and himself the blood of the wanted men. Scorned, a bit bitter, but always looking for a good time, Justus Blackburn has found adventure awaits him at every turn. He rides his red horse Hellfire, drinking blood from canteens and if you hear someone whistling "Dixie" in the shadows, you may want to pray or run for your life. This southern regulator is armed to the teeth, and his vampire fangs are just an added bonus to his arsenal. A son of the south did rise again and he wants blood.
