I am a spiritual blogger, a single mom, a private caregiver, and Indie author. In my poetry book collection, The Fire in a Woman's Belly, I focus on healing, release, hope, and self-love from betrayal and abuse. In my memoir, Shedding the Wife: a spiritual journey through divorce, I share my Dark Night of The Soul in a very raw, authentic way- not holding anything back. Through my ordeal, I have found healing from narcissistic abuse and forgiveness by being vigilant in prayer, meditation, yoga, journaling, and dream work. I hope my writing inspires other women to heal their wounds through a spiritual practice that serves them in their everyday lives.

Good Read

Meadows pens an interesting subject within the book Shedding the Wife: a spiritual journey through divorce. This is the first book of this author's that I've read. The book gives information that is helpful and insightful. Though it is about divorce, it's the after effects of emotions and training your mind that the "wife" is gone, but life is still there. I think there is more to this book than just dealing with divorce, it has some helpful information, and a feeling of support if someone may need it. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.

This book is not just for women going through divorce. It's also a great tool for friends to help someone going through divorce or even just for yourself to help you on your journey to self discovery. It's a book for every woman at every stage of life because you just never know where life might take you.
