ONE WILD WAKE UP CALL!!!
Outstanding! Jolynn lowered the boom and sent me skyrocketing through the stars with this impressive approach, bestowing one wicked storyline and gripping plot, melding this gem together sleek, shiny and tight. A surging vortex of fervent events and baffling circumstances, pull every emotion running rampant, catapulting it into play front and center. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this jewel into a raging tempest, blasting it into a tailspin with a life-altering culmination. One non-stop, action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, nailbiting, spine tingling bombshell, hooks you from start to finish. Sparks fly as drama, intrigue, tension, underlying currents, turmoil, hidden foes, danger, mounting suspense and nerve racking situations, along with a boatload of trouble, while dodging sinister intentions, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. Exhilaration rocks this jewel, bringing it home with such intensity and precision, riding roughshod and imparting one block busting piece of perfection, thrusting this gem to life brilliantly. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Jolynn, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

I was given an ARC for a voluntary honest review.
The Protectors is a mystery/suspense that shares the unraveling of a mystery that Angie begins to discover as she goes to work for her husband Jeff. Hating her first job she makes the shift to work for her husband, but from the beginning events and people are giving her warning flags. Her husband being one of the things that is setting vague alarm bells in her mind.

Their company just recently bought another company, former owner Carl, that was going bankrupt. Carl soon disappears and then things get crazy as fashion designers pop up, fake policemen, estranged son and of course her cousin across the street Elle. Underneath it all Angie can feel herself being drawn to one of her employees, Derrick. I don't want to give too much away, but you won't believe all the twists and turns coming!

Good suspense, with many twists. Dialogue between husband and wife I felt was a little too formal, too stiff. Other than that, thumbs up.

This story kept you guess. Every time you thought you had it figured out you were thrown another twisted. The ending did leave me a little confused.

Intrigue, mystery, thriller and a little romance all combined to make a great book. It keeps you guessing until the end. Looking forward to starting Jolynn's second book "Family Secrets".
