Christians everywhere are in the darkness of Deism regarding the Bible. Are you one of them? Deism believes God brings forth, then shows indifference toward finishing. This book At what stage did God take His Holy Spirit away from the finishing details of the Bible? Did God gather the books and order them? Divide and number the chapters and verses? Translate a Bible, choosing its words down to the letters? Did God put Jesus' words in red? In this book, by grace through faith, you will be made strong in knowing and understanding the way of the Father in life in the raising of the Bible from the seed Hebrew Old Testament, to the growth of the Greek New Testament, unto the maturity in the English finished and perfected Bible, the King James Bible.
Be warned, if you have no faith to take the word of God to its logical extreme and end, nothing in this book will make sense. I rated it a 5, but it is not perfect, there are some issues, not about content, but rather how the book is structured.
A wonderful book that upholds -- correctly -- the King James Bible as the final Word from God to man.
I enjoyed readinghte chapters that shows the connections of the 66 chapters of the Book of Isaiah to the corresponding books of the King James Bible. That is, Chapter 1 of the Book of Isaiah has words and phrases that link this Chapter to the Book of Genesis; Chapter 2 of the Book of Isaiah has words and phrases that link this Chapter to the Book of Exodus, and so on up to Chapter 66 which has words and phrases that link this Chapter to the Book of Revelation.
This book is awful. It is not based on a true understanding of scripture at all but instead it is based on the presuppositions of a person who believed something and then made-up "reasons" to support it. The author makes incorrect statements about history, about theology, and has a mystical view of the scriptures that would've had him kicked out of the churches of the early Christians. The author talks down to you, insults you if you disagree with him, and pretty much doesn't understand the Bible.
The author himself reviewed his own book on Amazon with 5-stars (which is against Amazon's guidelines). He lied and pretended to be someone other than the author of the book. When confronted he changed the name on the review--although I took screen shots to prove it.
This is not someone who cares about truth. This is someone who is arrogant and full of himself. If you disagree with him he calls you an agent of Satan and questions your salvation. His ideas are flawed, silly, and just dangerous to your spiritual health. Do not read this book. It is not true. It is unbiblical in its assertions.
If you want to read a good book on Bible versions read "How to choose a translation for all its worth" by Gordon Fee.
