The stakes just got higher, and it looks loving two men just isn't going to work- for any of them. Morgan doesn't know which way to turn or what to do. As crazy as it is, she's discovered that she actually does love two men. But obviously that won't work. Not only do they hate one another but they'll stop at nothing to destroy one another. Oh! Puhleeeeease!!! THIS IS A BUNCH OF ABSURDITIES!! I take back what I asked before! The man is married, regardless of mystical stories or not, he HAS BEEN MARRIED FOR MORE THAN TEN YEARS, HAS A SON WITH HIS " LOVELY AND WONDERFUL WIFE AND CHEATED ON HER!!! Yes, he betrays his WIFE whom he supposedly "loves", who has a relationship of souls and blah, blah, blah! He cheated with an unknown woman in a hotel bar, because, come on!! He was excited!!! He had a successful meeting!! She was attractive and gave up on him, so why not!!!?? Yes, it was the "enemy" that made him find the woman in the hotel, BUT IT WAS NOT THE ENEMY THAT MAKES HIM TAKE HER TO BED, THAT ROLLED IN THE SHEETS WITH HER OF FREE AND SPONTANEOUS WILL !!! WHICH AFTER YEARS HE EVEN REMINDS THE WOMAN WITH DESIRE! AND NOOOOO THERE WERE NO DRUGS WRAPPED, IT WAS FREE AND SPONTANEOUS WILL !! IT WAS NOT THE ENEMY THAT YEARS LATER FOUND THE SAME WOMAN AND BEEN VERY VERY TEMPTED TO CHEAT THE WIFE (AGAIN!!!) AND WAS NOT THE ENEMY WHO MADE HIM SO TEMPTED THAT HAS BEEN MASTURBED IN THE HOTEL BATHROOM THINKING IN ANOTHER WOMAN, AND NOT THE WIFE WHO THE JERK ALWAYS LOVES !!!! To summarize, the video of the traitor his lover in bed was shown to his wife, as if this were something recent, but when the wife discovers that it was a few years ago, of course the man "full of virtue" explain the 'situation" said that he was tempted but nothing happened, so It does not matter!! Because it was five years ago!! Puhleaaaasee how hypocritical is that shit ??? It doesn't matter that after all that time HE FINDS THE WOMAN AGAIN, GOES TO THE HOTEL ROOM WITH HER (AGAIN), KISSES HER, AND BY MUCH, BUT VERY LITTLE, THEY ALMOST HAD SEX (AGAIN!!!) Buuuuut after all, there is a great mystical nonsense to divert attention from EVERYTHING, soOOOOOO let's just pretend that the betrayal did not happen and we are going to save the world!Uhuuull!! Yep, and to spare the unsuspecting, in the end, after the heroine sacrifices herself to save the hero and manages to return, she catches him with F*king ANOTHER WOMAN after a party!!!!Very desolate our man isn't he??? ARE YOU INSANE???? SORRY BUT THIS SH*T IS COMPLETELY DISGUSTING AND MEANINLESS!! I just give up this bunch of crap! Another writer who lost a reader.

Holy Cow! Just when I thought Morgan and Cord would finally have their HEA and Victor finally gets what he deserves another curve is thrown in and I'm left pulling my hair and screaming NO!
I found that Morgan is very naive and stupid at times. Even after she learns that Cord never cheated on her and Victor is an evil murdering lying bastard she still loves him, WHAT? Cord himself is annoying at times but the love he has for Morgan is undeniable.
There are a few secrets that come to light but you will have to get the book to find out.
Fast paced, roller coaster ride of emotions that starts from the first page and doesn't stop until the last page that leaves you wondering what's next!

First, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Ciana Stone is back again with Episode 4 of her incredible Shattered Chronicles Series. This book is called Restrained and boy oh boy does it fit the book perfectly. Ciana previously was going to call it Darkness and have a different cover. However, I think she made the right call to change the name and the cover. I swear each book in this series gets better and better. If you have not started reading this series what are you waiting for? It reads like a prime-time soap would but with way more action to it!
The cover of the book is spot on to the whole theme of the book. Not to mention it is incredibly hot and sexy! Ciana does incredible work with all of the covers she creates. I am referring to the cover I received on my e copy and not the version GoodReads has.
What was not to love about this book?! Incredible characters, incredibly fast paced book, a reunion that put a smile on my face, possessive fiancé (that I now loathe), etc.
Every book in the series seems better than the last one as you get more into the story.
The more I read this story the more I think this should be put on NetFlix. I think it would be a hit with viewers.

Talk about running full into this one no holding back. This one is what right away gets you going because you gotta know. I have followed and read the other ones in this so that is why I say this is deep. Such yummy goodness in reading when Cord, Morgan and Victor lead you through this. I say it is a bit of a battle also especially since it deeply involves matters of the heart. You will also be ripped to pieces so be prepared to have to go in a corner for a minute. Watch out too their is magic in this one to consume you as you delve into it. This one is also a bit of a whirlwind but we eat it up.

Darkness
Wow if this book was a exercising machine, I think I would of dropped 50 pounds just from reading this series so far. I cannot just put my phone or kindle down. Seriously I just get mad at myself while at work thinking I could be reading right now, but noooo I'm stuck here. Some advice don't read this book out of order.
She's finally done it, but at what cost to herself and those around her. She knows her son is confused and that her daughter is more understanding. But can she help everyone she loves or will she lose them too in the turmoil that is to come from what she did.

Good vs evil or is it?
I'm hooked on this series the author has this reader fully engulfed in the story line to the very end. Normally I don't like serial books but I have to say this story that's kept my interest from beginning till this fourth episode and I have not been disappointed.
By now in this fourth installment you've gotten to know all the major characters that will take this story hopefully to its undetermined and at this point. Morgan the lead female and the bone of contention between Victor and Cord. She has an unfulfilled destiny waiting for her.
I would like to say that between Cord and Victor their destinies are not quite black and white. If you've picked up the previous books definitely read this one you still won't get the satisfaction of how it's going to end as I'm sure there's another book in the story line.
So happy reading until the next book in the series.

This dark love/hate relationship between Cord, Morgan, and Victor continues in Book 4 of the Shattered Chronicles. Once again, we find ourselves thrust into a world of lies, spies, and the darkest evil imaginable. The pain and heartache of this novel will have you sobbing your heart out while cursing the men which have Morgan pulled in opposite directions. Be prepared to have what you think you know about this twisted relationship ripped to shreds as the truth is slowly uncovered.

This next episode in the 'The Shattered Chronicles' with Cord, Morgan, and Victor's story is nothing short of mindblowing. Hard to say episode as each part of the story is a novel in itself. Morgan is finally seeing Victor for who he is, but the stakes have become extremely high. Things that Morgan must do to keep Cord safe will not be understood. The darkness and lies are still there, but there is a bit of unraveling now that Morgan has her eyes opened. Although I have always been vocal on cliffhangers, this is a story that can only be told in installments. Each part of their story is filled with so much content, it keeps this reader on pins and needles waiting for the next episode. I would like to thank Ciana Stone for gifting me "Darkness: Episode 4". My opinion is voluntary and my own. This is mine. 5 Stars!

In this book of the series Morgan meets up with Cord after he has come back to Texas after 6 months of silence but she is still with Victor. Things start to speed up now that Victor is keeping a watchful eye on Morgan as well as controlling important people in Washington. He thought he could control Morgan with his synthetic drug but it didn't work the way he thought it would, so he had to resort to other methods to keep her in line. Morgan realizes certain things about herself, her ex-husband Cord and Victor. This is a very suspenseful adventure. Great story line as well as answers from the last book. The characters are phenomenal. Page turner. I was given an ARC by author. I am providing an honest review.

This is intense, suspenseful and dramatic. Morgan is stupid and gullible. Cord is not much better. Victor is a sadistic, sick person. Cord has a lot of help now, but nobody is sure who they can trust. And just when I thought I understood what is happening, I ended up more confused, to the point where I don't know who the good guy is and who the bad guy is, or what's real.

I'm not a quitter...therefore I will persevere and keep reading this series. But......Holy Snickerdoodle!!! Can I please smack a couple of characters?!? Thank goodness this is not a true roller-coaster, because all these twist and turns would make me sick!! I'm almost scared to see what "Defenseless" will bring to the story-line.

What is the real truth? This is another interesting read in the Shattered Chronicles, can't wait to see how it develops further.

Book four of the The Shattered Chronicles/The Others series this series is just getting more intense. I want to read the next book. These books must be read in order as the books tie into each other. Morgan Makes me so angry at times. I received an Arc of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.

I really don't know how much more I can take. The rollercoaster ride between Morgan and Cord, and Morgan and Victor is killing me.
The paranormal aspect and what is happening with Victor and Juro is creating more questions.
Will good be able to overcome evil, light defeat the darkness? Who knows? I don't want to say anything else other than there is more to come. I don't know how many books are left in this serial. All I can tell you is that each book keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Entwined with the paranormal aspect you will find, action, intrigue, secrets, mystery, suspense, romance, sex, deceit, and violence.

This series so far deserves a Sweet Baby Jesus!!! OMG these people will blow your mind with the direction their lives have taken. Darkness verses light, evil verses good...Whether we want to admit it or not there can't be a balance without one or the other. FINALLY....Morgan is getting a glimpse of Victors true self but with his drugs and manipulation she thinks she is on the verge of losing it. Cord is back and has proof of the lies Morgan has been fed but instead of clearing things in her mind it just confuses her more. How can a women be in love with two men as different as night and day....literally??? Destinies are to be filled but at what cost??? When Morgan has to choose to save a life, which side will she end up on??? Just when you think everything will work out for the best something unexpected happens and your left thinking WTH!!! But never fear Ciana Stone has a plan that will leave you just as breathless as the last episode and giddy with anticipation for the next. This is a must one click series from book one to the end...only Ciana knows when that is. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorite collection and waiting in giddy anticipation for the next book.

Victor begins to show his true self as Morgan grows more into hers, and as Cord becomes the warrior he is destined to be. If you are looking for a good cardio workout, this is it! This book will keep your heart racing from start to finish. The conflict is so intense and gripping that, like me, you may find yourself having to walk away at times just to calm your heart beat and lower your blood pressure.
This series certainly lives up to its name because it will definitely shatter your mind at times and often your emotions. And even though I read every word, hoping to see Cord and Morgan reach their HEA, each time it is ripped from their grasp, I begin to wonder if this time will good triumph over evil or is evil destined to win? I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series! Each installment has been more fascinating and riveting than the last. This series is truly the epitome of romantic suspense!!

This series is astounding! There’s something jaw dropping in every installment that will leave you with so many emotions, some good and some bad. Morgan is wondering if she does or can love both Cord and Victor, two men that are polar opposites. And if so how does she chose between the two. You would think the decision would be easy but it’s not. The complications are tremendous. But she’s finally getting a glimpse of who Victor really is and his dirty dealings. Terrific writing kept me turning the pages in this fantastic fourth story that’s full of danger, intrigue and sexy romance. Can’t wait to see what happens next with these three amazing characters. OMG. Fastener your seatbelts if you are reading this series because the ride is about to get even wilder. Amid all the craziness that is happening between Morgan and Victor and Cord, revelations about these three become known. If you have read any of the World of the Others, you know there is a battle between the Light and the Dark. Well….. it continues here. Morgan is having issues with her love of two men but finally makes a difficult choice. Have your tissues ready. I can't wait for the next Episode even though I hate cliffhangers. Couldn’t put this one down!

I am not a paranormal reader but this series makes me love the genre! You will be taken apart and then make whole all over again with this story. Morgan, Cord and Victor will take you on a wild ride and you can't see the end yet! The good and evil are the opposition presented to you.Nothing will be black and white. The story is intriguing and enthralling at the same time. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.

Another great episode...there are still parts I just don't get when it comes to the relationships in this series but It is a good read none the less. I enjoyed the fact that Morgan is finally getting a clue about some things. I can't wait to see how everything plays out over the next few episodes. I am sure that others will enjoy it too. I would recommend this series and writer to others.

This part of the series really drew me back in. I will be totally honest I questioned how this was going to go and if going to keep me wanting more. Well it has. The complexity of the characters and the paranormal elements, well wow. No spoilers just one to read.
