Rate this book
Hot Nights in Bali is the second novel in the erotic murder mystery series featuring Indonesian policewoman Sergeant Ayesha Asmara. The murder victim is best-selling American novelist Harry Markham, who has his own private yacht, on which he sails to the Indonesian holiday resort island of Bali. Soon after his arrival, he succeeds in antagonizing almost everyone he comes in contact with. Markham is famous for his extreme right wing views, and he deliberately starts an argument with a left wing Australian senator whom he meets in a Bali night club. On another occasion he savagely beats a freelance journalist to a pulp. When Markham is brutally murdered, Sergeant Ayesha Asmara is assigned the task of investigating the novelist's death. As in the previous novel in this series, Ayesha enjoys a number of steamy sexual encounters with members of both sexes before solving the murder.Length of story is over 24,000 words.
