Rate this book
When the Chambers brothers pull off what should be a simple robbery, they end up taking on more than they bargained for. Their target, unknown to them, works for Lenny Paisley, head of the strongest crew in Blackpool, a vicious drug dealer who wants them to pay for the insult doled out to him.

After the youngest brother is brutally beaten, the older brothers forced to watch, Rose, the Chambers matriarch reluctantly calls in her eldest daughter, Faith, to help dig her brothers out of the mess they've made. Ostracised from her home town for her role in a crime she didn't commit, Faith's homecoming isn't well received by the locals. She also becomes a target for a vindictive police officer and his team of corrupt colleagues who framed her eldest brother for a crime he is serving life for.

Determined to rid her home town of the pestilence that is Lenny Paisley once and for all, Faith and her brothers take on the worst elements of the criminal underworld, as well as those paid to uphold the law while making a mockery of it.

Meanwhile the skeletons that have been hiding for so long in the Chambers' family closet threaten to emerge and tear the family apart.

Contains strong language and scenes of violence.

Gangland thriller.

My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.

When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Blaggers code

A new area a new family.
Set in Blackpool meet the Chamners family, characters you bond with straightway.
A big family of 4 brothers 2 sisters and a iron ruling mum. The younger 3 lads are in to the petty crime jacking people for there bits of drugs until one day the choose the wrong target.
Meet the new Mr Big, he wants this family brought down and is out to anything to do that...why though no one know, is he the mastermind or is there someone else pulling the puppet strings.

Awesome read !

Wow what can I say except well done yet again Heather, you've smashed it ! This book like all the others by this author grabbed me from the start, my only disappointment is I've finished it and now awaiting the next one ! Loved all the characters in this book apart from a couple of weasels !!! ( obviously I don't want to give too much away ! ) so if you're thinking of downloading this book, do it ..... You definitely won't regret it.

Faith Chambers and her siblings are a force to be recockened with. Lots of opportunities to further develop the family and story lines . I loved it. A great read with lots of twists and turns . I can’t wait for the next book to follow. I don’t want to give any spoilers but I hope Marlow gets what he deserves and Vance gets free. I loved the diving line series and this has the potential to be just as good.

Great read

First time reading this author's work and I loved it. The storyline surrounds the Chambers family. A close knit family who have secrets and pasts aplenty. I was disappointed when the book ended tbh , I wanted it to go on and on lol. Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one. Would I recommend it, Definitely, I for one can't wait to read the next one.

Good book. A bit messy in places but a good read nonetheless. I like the storyline though and will read the next title in the series.

Fantastic

This was a great book. I do enjoy this genre of writing but sometimes it can become predictable. However, not this story, I would highly recommend.

Not as punchy as her usual books

Lacked the gripping story line of her other books. Found it all too contrived. I felt as though I knew what was coming next.

Okay read

Sorry but I don't understand how the author can be compared to Martina Cole. I feel the books are poorly written and unrealistic. Okay read if nothing better available
