This was a step sibling romance!!Family issues, baggage from previous relationships, projection, trust, and being proactive about life are some of the underlying currents in this story. Both of the main characters seem like real people and it is impossible not to hope that they find the happiness and love that they deserve.

Just the absolute best story. It had me captivated from the beginning with the hot steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Everything I like to read about and more. Such a great story I will read again and again. A keeper!!

A passionate realistic plot that is so steamy you can feel the heat from the pages.
Melissa is going to Hawaii for a family reunion wedding.
Escaping a bad breakup and encouraged by friend Suzee to have fun and use her womanhood without attachment.

The story flows quite naturally and real, I can only guess that when ladies get together they talk just as open about men.
The sex scenes are smouldering they burn through the paper.
The chemistry is evident right in front of your eyes and with two stunningly attractive leads, the scenes are hot.
Easy to read, entertaining, enjoyable, seductive and racy.

Great read!

I loved this story. It was fun, romantic, hot and sweet. A killer combination. The characters were believed and the banter was entertaining.

Anyway, belatedly, HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY to HAWAIIAN TABOO, second book in the steamy Spirit of Ohana Cruise ship series.
I had such fun writing this book because I'm more than a little in love with Nate - and with Hawaii, of course!

Another great story set on the Spirit of Ohana Cruise ship and this time it is Lissa and Nate's story Lissa is called home for the renewal of her parents vows on board the luxury ship. She is just getting over a break up with her ex and has decided that commitment isn't for her. That doesn't mean she can't have some hot night with Nate a handsome soldier she meets on board. What she doesn't know is that there is a connection between her and Nate that makes him taboo. Will they overcome the problems will they get a HEA You have to read to see

Another great book in this series. In Hawaiian Taboo, we meet Lissa, who leaves her less-than-exciting life behind to attend her parents' renewal of vows aboard the Spirit of Ohana Cruise line. At the airport, she meets a hot military man, and romance ensues. But Nate has a secret, one that could end things before they get started. I was on the edge of my seat, because I HAD to know how their story would turn out!

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Laney Kaye; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

This book has a lot going on, and it makes the story fairly realistic. I loved the realness of the characters and the depth that the character was able to create. This book has a lot of fun moments and combined with the emotional undertone that this book has, it easily is one of the better reads that I have read where the book is almost realistic.

The book started a little slow and was hard to get into at first. After persisting through the start, the book became unable to put down. Whilst I did predict the ‘plot turn’, I enjoyed reading this book. It had some steamy scenes and a HEA.

This is the second book in the series and was another well written enjoyable read that will suck you in and keep you hooked right until the very end. I liked both Nate and Lissa they were good likable characters and were really good together. A great addition to the series I really enjoyed it.
