The chapters in how men and women speak and drew, and to not have nicotine stains in your fingers seem awfully dated - with many references dating back to the 80ies. And, as predicted, we get to read about Dale Carnegie's wisdoms.
The book seems to be geared more towards college grads joining the workforce than folks needing to influence change in large organizations.
