Nearly 50 years old, this is obviously a quite dated bibliography, nevertheless, it does provide a good starting point for some of the older sources, and in fact, by tracing citations, can be a useful entry into more contemporary work as well. In addition to published print sources, it also includes a listing of "Manuscript Collections" throughout Minnesota, as well as "Letters," "Personal Papers," "Buildings," "Photographs," and dozens of "Oral Interviews."
