Once again I am baffled by who these books are written for, because this also did not have a happy ending, it was slightly better then the first but overall it was still terrible.
This installment was also riddled with tons of grammatical errors, sentence structures are strange, pov will change middle of the paragraph (such as going from 1st person to 3rd person in a matter of sentences) quotation marks are missing from some of the dialogue and so much more. But the biggest glaring issue is that an entire scene is literally repeated the next page after it happens. There is also the issue that some of the world building changing from the first book to this book, such as the birthing process, why did it sound like she was laying an egg in this one but in the first it was a normal human birth?
Also can we talk about the major plot hole this series has, the aliens, the Klaskians, have the technology and skill to move an entire planet, the men carry all the DNA needed for creating new kids, none of the children have the mothers DNA, they are able to heal and bring back extinct animals on Earth, yet for some reason they haven't made a way to create actual incubators for procreating and instead they need to utilize the bodies of Earth Women? This is weird, its clear they don't need to.
The characters are lacking as is the overall plot, which kudos for trying to make one, but it wasn't a good one, nor was the approach any good. I think the only things these books do well are the sex scenes, which by the way it involves TWO guys again (why do the covers only have one dude on them), that are almost carbon copies of the first two guys, all the scenes are basically copies of the first book, same goes for the FMC, very little creativity went into making these characters standout from the first book.
I won't be continuing with this series.

When the Klaskians were forced to move their planet across space as their star failed, they came into Earth’s system to share our sun. Offering technology and repairing damage to Earth’s environment, they allied with Earth for everyone’s mutual benefit. An added perk was that humans were genetically compatible with the aliens and could help replenish their numbers since many of the alien women and children had died during the long journey to another solar system. But on Earth, a scientific group and a religious cult did not approve of the surrogate program that had been negotiated. When the world government told them to back off – not wanting to lose the benefits of the alliance with the aliens – one group secretly formed the SAAB group (“Scientists Against Alien Babies”) which kept looking for reasons to get rid of the aliens. They devised a poison to destroy the Klaskians’ planet and cause them to either leave or to die – either fate would accomplish SAAB’s goal.
Sarah Overstreet is a member of SAAB and is tasked with carrying out the group’s plot against the aliens. She carried a vial of the poison implanted in her arm. But she realizes she has been lied to about many things by SAAB and no longer feels the mission to harm these innocent people is justified. Will she bring this treachery to light? Will she carry out the destruction of the planet and its people as instructed? Or will she try to expose SAAB’s deceit and work to keep Klaskar safe, knowing that the threat will not stop?
This was an uncomfortable book sometimes. The plotting to destroy an apparently peaceful planet or kill the aliens outright, the Earth government using them for not only technology but for illegal experimentation, immediate return of the Earth women as they give birth, separating the children from their mothers, and the overall feeling of secrecy and deception everywhere was unpleasant. Character development, weak in the first book, continued to lack depth. But again, the reader can see how the aliens respect their living planet and the plants that give up life to provide for their needs. It’s easy to see why the human exploitation of Earth would upset and shock them. In addition, some parts of the story were confusing, such as when Notla had followed Sarah and yet later did not know about the human colony she had gone to when he followed! Although love and affection eventually surface, this is not at all “light” reading.

Love or War
This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. When the Klaskians moved their planet they suffered the loss of most of their females and children. Seeking an alliance with Earth allowed them to jumpstart their population again with the surrogacy program. But not all on Earth support this endeavor. The rebel group against the mixing of populations has long sought to end the program and has finally made their move. Sending Sarah to the planet with the means to poison the planet, once there she faces a dilemma. Sarah falls in love not only with the planet, but with her two assigned mates. She struggles with her decision, but when she stumbles upon a huge secret, she finally makes her decision. Will her love be able to survive the secrets she reveals? Can she possibly have a future with her mates on this planet? Read this great alien romance story to find out!

For adult readers.
This is book 2 in a trilogy, but it can easy be read as a stand alone.
Typical of human behavior, many of us do NOT accept change or the unknown, so a plot is devised to destroy no matter the cost to others. That is where Sarah comes in. Sarah is the deliverer of the plot to end the peaceful Klaskians. Notla and his best friend just wanted children to replenish their race.
I'm enjoying this series and glad it's not going to be dragged out into several books. Klaskians are interesting beings who are very human like, aside from some color issues and other little odd bits. I like the world building of the alien planet, it must beautiful.
I think book is well written, imaginative and of course has a HEA,

Sarah was sent to Klaska as a Trojan horse, to work against the alien surrogate program. When she meets her two males, her decision wavers and she has second thoughts. Sarti is devastated and finds it hard to forgive her for the betrayal. Notla, has developed strong feelings for Sarah and will stand by her. Intriguing storyline, with a twist at the end. I enjoyed this book and felt for all three of the main characters when some secrets are revealed. The ending leaves an interesting path for the next book to possibly follow. I look forward to reading more of this developing story.

An alien romance novella. The story centers around one human female. She is against the aliens and has plans to stop them. But meeting and actually going through with plan is not the same as watching from the sidelines. Decisions must be made and people may die.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Sooo Good!
It’s getting more and more interesting by the minute, I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next one because my heart is hurting for these people and the way they live. I know to each their own but wow.

Part 2
This is the second book in the series and I am definitely heading to read book 3.
I think the author needs to review this book once again. There are many typos and change of third person to first in one sentence which was confusing but I still enjoyed this story.

I read this story first by mistake, but I still could understand what was going on. It was well written, like the fact that one of the aliens didn't just forgive her for making a big mistake. She had to earn his trust back.

The second installment in this series has a little more meat to the story but is still just a fluff piece for an excuse to have sex. It does have a better ending but… Glad I got this through KU because $2.99 for a seventy page story is asking a lot.

Defiantly different but it was interesting. I did enjoy reading the story. I liked it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

This book was highly disappointing to me. This is supposed to be book 2 in a series but there are very big holes in the storyline that don’t mesh with book 1.

With a different prospective you can see more. This is a good storyline of love and understanding. Good performance.

Sarah had her mission and she was determined to complete it; until she got to know Sarti and Notla. Thank goodness Sarah met Sam and found Renee or she never would have had her crisis of conscience. I think part of the reason Notla was able to forgive Sarah is because he was forewarned by Karee; whereas Sarti was clueless and felt the betrayal much deeper.
