This book written by a man with a PH.D does not surprise me that it is written well, and clearly by a smart individual. The facts on this book are in forms of stories and at times I actually thought they were made up. The book started off saying "this is Johnny and thanks to alcohol, Johnny's life is ruined".

When they said "thanks to alcohol Johnny ran towards a tree headfirst and is in the hospital with a piece of bark in his head", I was lost. I did not expect a story like that and makes me wonder if it can be true. I did enjoy the facts that are sprinkled in this book but the style was a little off putting. I need just facts not stories.

i think this book is good for kids to learn about what alcohol does to you. To teach them not to be heavy alcoholics. Especially at a young age, for your body to develop.
