Drew Sanders is a strong-willed female boxer who wants nothing more than to be a part of her family’s business. When denied by her father, she decides to focus on her business and love of boxing. She meets Chastain “Chas” Roland, rough, rude-boy who she immediately gravitates to. Running the family prostitution ring through his boxing gym, Chas takes on the role as the “strong” one in the family, helping everyone get through their own problems. Drew becomes a welcoming distraction, and the pair quickly fall for another. Unexpected, troubling events occur in Drew’s life, causing their relationship to crumble before it can fully blossom. Lynnette “Lynn” Sanders is Drew’s older cousin and best friend who she co-owns a daycare with, while also working for the family business. She is young, wild, and free, living how she wants without a care in the world, until she meets Chan. Channing “Chan” Roland, is the older brother of Chas, who cares for his baby mother who is battling HIV. When times get hard, Chan mentally can’t handle things, and shuts down. Lynn becomes his safe haven, but when his life hits rock bottom, will she be there to save him?

Pretty Gurls Love Gangstas by DeeAnn is different book to read. This is my first time reading this book from this author. DeeAnn does a good job.
I love the way how Chan and Chas show the brothers love. They have touched my heart. The way how they understand and look out each other. Mental health is seriously game. Chan is really care about Kellie but Kellie doesn’t see that her health and her bad decision is affecting on him. Hopefully, Chan will find someone to talk and help him dealing with his mental health. Also, I love the way how Lynn and Drew show the sisters love. They’re always be there to each other. Hopefully, D.W. and Wilson will telling their secret to Lynn and Drew.
I’m looking forward to reading part two of this series. I know there are ten series of Pretty Gurls Love. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more from this author.

DeeAnn trying to give somebody a straight heart attack with that cliffhanger. I love how this storyline flows and how the characters find their way into your heart. Chas and Chan really made an impact on me with their bond. Drew and Lynn remind me of certain aspects of myself. I love how their is a deeper message within the story. Mental illness is very real and it affects the African American community more than people wish to acknowledge. Great job DeeAnn. This is most definitely a must read!!!!!!
This is a must read. It will have you laughing and in your feelings the next. DeeAnn did the thing with this one. I knew her family had something to do with everything wonder if Chas going to help her out. Hope this doesn't make Chan slip further into that dark place. Cant wait to read part 2. Awesome job DeeAnn.
I enjoyed this read and I'm excited for the sequel. I'm more excited to know the outcome of these two dangerous families. I'm loving Drew and Lynn with Chas and Chan. Waiting for the sequel may be hard. Everyone needs loving and supportive parents, but these secrets have gone too far. If only they would've kept the girls safe by talking....
Man I need a visual of the brothers Chas and Chan. They oh so fine. Lynn and Drew fathers were wrong for keeping that big secret from the girls. They have almost been killed way too many times. Now the girls are involved with the brothers and all mess is about to break out..
I knew that each of their parents had some deep secrets but this is terrible. His father all kinds of wrong and he just should have said something first. This book is firer. You did your thang.
Where is the rest.. that’s can’t be the ending.. The storyline was amazing and DeeAnn wrote the mess out of this book and I need part 2 right now .. the delivery was on point .. I really enjoyed this book
This book was so good! A true page turner. I couldn’t stop reading. I can’t believe what’s going on.. Drew’s father & uncle possibly caused her demise! Can’t wait for the next installment.
I had a feeling that's what it was The Sanders brother's was getting on my nerves instead of being honest to their daughters they led them into harms way GR8 Book Can't wait for Part 2
Honey honey honey if you haven't turn me this way and that way in this book trying to figure out what those two daddies is up to. That dam DW is something else but seems like that Christoph is too. Come on part two, I'm waitinggggg
This was Amazing. I was going thru some things that kept me from reading but Baby this book bought me back. I’m just mad they kept the girls (Lynn & Drew) out the loop and they fell for Chan & Chas. I can’t wait to read part 2 . You definitely did your thing
When is the 2nd book coming out because I know dang well you didn't have the boss chick Drew go out like that. Oh nah nawl this not working for me but good job keeping me interested the book
I knew it I knew there was sone foolishness in the game. Drew and Chas makes a cute couple but Lynn and Chan are cuter together. Secret can hurt those you love the most. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Awesome job Dee Ann
I really like Chas and Drew's chemistry with one another, but the connection that Lynn and Chan have is amazing. I hope they can all work through this drama and come out happier than ever by each others sides.
I need part 2 asap cause that ending was too much. The sun's of the father is now spilling over on the kids and family ties are about to be questioned. Great read
I need more. This book is one that felt very close to home. I will recommend this to anyone. It's a start to a very good series. I am not giving thing away, read it.
That ending has my mouth on the floor! I can't believe D.W. I hope that Drew makes it. I wonder how Chas is going to handle all of this. I love Lynn! Great book. I can't wait for part 2!
Sometimes secrets are meant to be told. I am mad at Drews dad and uncle. This was the secret they were keeping. Could get Drew killed. I can't wait for book two. Good job lady
Speechless. I didn't expect that ending at all. That is some crazy stuff. I am so upset that Drew had to pay for her father's infertility. I need part 2 asap. Great Read.
Drew desperately wants to be a part of her family's business. She's turned 18 and feels it's only right. The fact that her brother, Magnum, and cousin, Lynn, are a part of the business only heightens her stress about the situation. Until her and Lynn run across a handsome set of brothers, Chan and Chas. This book is an urban fiction read that will take you on an interesting and sexy journey. I love that this read touches on mental well being, a topic that is often taboo in the urban community. I also loved the originality of the main characters. I haven't read many books, if any, that held their same characteristics. I can not wait to read the sequel to this book. Great job DeeAnn!
Enjoyed the characters. D.W. was a hot mess had he been hinest from the beginning it would have saved his family some heart ache. Chan and Chas are something else, I like how they are there for eaxh other though. Same for Lynn and Drew. That ending though omg talk about a cliffhanger.
I am loving this well written story. The characters are interesting, well developed and likeable. The drama, secrets and lies are everything. On to part two.
