The BLOOD VICE series is best enjoyed as part of a series and these omnibus editions are excellently done. The story changes a great deal in 4-6 as Jenna Skye goes from being a police officer and a titular member of Blood Vice to being a vampire noblewoman in a relationship with a royal. I kind of miss the mysteries from before but still enjoyed the character's arc. Plus, all of the characters are decently detailed with intriguing plots.
It's just much more of a "I married a Prince" story (with fangs!) versus a detective story.

Even better than the first set
This set swept away the first set. The fun and excitement and the growth from the first to the second set, so well done. Seeing the characters become more, learn more, become such a mismatched family is great.

Angela Roquet does it for me :) There's enough suspense, romance, family and crazy to make me happy. Plus she does sexy in a tasteful way.
The plot is good, the characters are well developed, the language is smart. I'm reading the whole series (now vol. 8).

Fun, fast, can't put down
When I started reading the series, I wasn't hooked. The continuation of the story in these 3 books was unpredictable and offered new characters, romantic interest and plot twists. I am now officially hooked.
