T.I.E. Series #2

The Infinite Beat

ChelleI was a stowaway, on tour with a rock band. We were supposed to be on tour with them legitimately - my brother as the bass player for the opening act - Seduction and Sacrifice - and me as their merch girl. Then my brother's band imploded, and they lost their spot. We lost our jobs, our apartment, and almost all hope before he managed to get us on with the road crew.I pretended to be one of the guys in order to go unnoticed. It worked until he saw me, saw through my disguise, and then changed my world.EvanThat was no dude dropping stuff by my kit. Too slight. Too perfect. Too beautiful for anyone to mistake her as anything but the feminine perfection she was, yet these morons on the road crew had referred to her as a dude. One look from her stopped me cold. One smile of hers stopped my heart. One laugh brought it all back into focus. One test changed everything. Forever.

Chelle and her brother David were supposed to be on tour with Seduction and Sacrifice as opening band for The Infinite Everything (T.I.E.) tour. Some unfortunate accident with drugs, alcohol and a crash that comes to end. So Chelle and her brother David end up being part of the set up crew. Chelle is supposed to be dressed as a guy but I mean come-on if you get a good enough look at her you know she's a girl. And Evan, the drummer for The Infinite Everything has taken noticed especially when his drum set has attacked the poor girl. Let's just say the attraction is there.
So then Evan gets Chelle out of being a roadie to helping with the Merchandise table, which I mean is so much better then hauling band equipment and stage things everywhere. Things start heating up but Chelle doesn't want anyone to know....you know best kept secrets always I mean always seem to come to light.
I loved this couple together but damn it's called communication face/face not to rely on texting all the time. Lot's of miscommunication and missed opportunities for these two. Then her brother David gets the break he's looking for with the new opening band Fourth Down and one is so deserved. Chelle is so happy for her brother and doesn't want to ruin his chances.
Things in this book move along really good. My only thing that made me so mad was that almost everyone treated Chelle as an afterthought! If it weren't for one security guy and an old roadie she wouldn't have had anyone really.
Really just loved this installment into the series. I love the way that Christine knows how to throw in a little humor, hot sex, angst, and let's face the misunderstood. Cannot wait to see what/whom or whatever she comes out with next in this series. Keep them coming. This has everything you want in a RockStar genre book. I highly recommend it. Christine Michelle is definitely turning into a one-click author for this fangirl for sure. So I'm going to leave one quote I liked from the book and it's a quote of Evan talking to Chelle.
"You are the only thing I've dreamed of since I met you."
so again highly recommend this book and series.

Nice story

Was hoping the rest of the band was out. So many of the characters are not complete. Fourth down as well. I like the stories and hope Clay gets a second chance as I saw he was sorry for his actions. Hope its not too long to read the next books in the series on all the bands.

What a sweet Rock N Roll romance. I just love Chelle and Evans. They have their lack of communication. They finally work it out with help from their friends. I love Chelle strong bond with her brother. All the characters are awesome. I'm a groupie and can't wait to read what happens next.

I liked it!

Evan and Chelle had some ups and downs but they got their happily ever after. I think that they should have talked more about their past and that way they wouldn't have had so many miscommunications between them. I actually liked this book better than the first book.

It was good but not as good as book 1, hence the four stars. This is Evan and Chelle's story, sort of a Cinderella tale but better, don't forget the pirates!

Great book

I don’t usually like rock band books but this was enjoyable. The characters were true rock stars, with all the characteristics you would expect. Really loved the heroine.

This one is definitely cuter and more soft than the first book. You get more backstory and sweetness when you read this one.
