This is the first introductory text book to European tort law. It brings together national tort law, comparative law, EU law and human rights law, and provides insights into the differences, commonalities and mutual influence of the different tort law systems at work in Europe.
The fact that this book was out of print only five years or so after its initial publication is telling. It claims to be the only one of its kind, which may be so: but that does not excuse its lack of clarity or circular explanations. There is plenty of useful information in this book, but getting it out is quite the chore.
