8/2013: A bit old (2002). Will review after a few hikes.
12/15/2013 update: This is a good resource for hikes in Mass. After a dozen or so of the hikes in this book, I'd say it's characterizations are generally on target (trail difficulty, etc.), the supporting info is accurate, and the info about the history, flora/fauna, sights and views is good.
