Fairly generic, 2.5 stars, I read this in like 2001 thinking it was the book the tv movie "Model Behavior" with Justin Timberlake was based off of, turns out it's based on a book called "Alex & Janine". If you've ever read teen fiction from the 1980's well it's very light and tame compared to the toxic junk YA sex fueled crap that comes out now. This is a story about a model trying to see what normal life is like and the normal guy she falls in love with. Part of me wonders if Disney read this and stole the idea for Hannah Montana. 🤔 Pretty pedestrian writing, no real depth, fairly predictable, it's just a short book that will serve as a reasonable diversion for a couple hours.
