This is the best field guide reading! By no means thorough or complete (stick to NatGeo or Sibs for that!), it absolutely makes up for it in charm and quality content. I learned so many new interesting things about birds I thought I already knew so well. Focus is mainly on birds of the Great Lakes region, but I think any person interested in birds a little or a lot would enjoy this gem. A solid 5-stars!
