The novel has also been nominated for state book awards in Vermont, Virginia, Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri,Indiana, Hawaii and Arizona.

THE CASTLE IN THE ATTIC and its sequel, THE BATTLE FOR THE CASTLE, were nominated for twenty-three state book awards and are considered children’s fantasy classics.

So many parents seem to resent this book because Julia doesn't want to go to sleep in it. Well, my sleep-resistant toddler adores it for precisely that reason. She says she loves Julia. Another fun library check out.

I didn't like this book because it teaches children not to get to bed when asked.
I will not share it with my children.
