A Suitable Arrangement is a category romance published back in 1987. I'm pretty sure I acquired this book from my mom's shelves as it still has the old .97 K-mart sticker on it.

I can't remember if I ever read this book before or if I've just been carting it around for 25 years in the hope I'd get around to it. The story is pretty unmemorable and the characters are stock characters right down to the FMC's younger sister. The suitable arrangement mentioned in the title is anything but suitable, but the story remains a closed door romance. Katie and Lord Wellesy have a past but at 155 pages, the story doesn't get too much into it, focusing mainly on the present. Katie's addled aunt, the Romany woman who takes advantage of her, and some other things should probably keep this book in the 80s. It's just not anything special.
