About the author

Veronika Grohsebner (*1966) was born in Upper Austria and grew up in a medical doctor’s family as the youngest of four children. After graduating from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, she worked in the private sector for a few years. At present she lives in Vienna with her husband and four children, managing her family fulltime. Writing bilingually, she makes her own German versions of her originally English books.

Max je ,,namachrovaný" kluk, kterému se všechno daří, dalo by se říct že je jako vyprojektovaný (prostě skoro dokonalý). Max žije jenom s mamkou. Jeho mamce záleží jenom na úspěchu. Chlubí se jeho poháry a diplomy za všechny možné soutěže, ať jsou za sport nebo za jiné předměty ve škole. Jeho mamka se k němu a ke všem ostatním chová povýšeně a bezcitně. Ale to se všechno změní !
