First Rules by Andie M Long a five-star read that will take you far away. This is the second part of the sisters of Andlusan and it completes the story so well, it could come wrapped in a bow and it still it wouldn’t be topped, its just that good. This one picks up after Last Rites and we get to know sisters Leatha and Mercy as well as the boys in their lives Arron and Billy, we get to see them all settle and find their feet. This was a great story of self-discovery and fighting for what you love. As always Andie M Long proves why she will always be in my top ten fave authors.

I’m so glad we got more of Leatha and Mercy’s story. This chapter of their journey let’s us get to know Leatha, her motivations for why she kept jumping to Earth and how she faces the responsibilities for life after her return. In the first book, Mercy found her fun, always being the responsible one. Now Leatha has to face the consequences of what she did as nightmares plague her with visions that then happen and a voice that was able to escape with her. Can she solve the mystery of this spirit traveler and stop the damage it is causing? Will she embrace the role of queen? Will love follow with Billy? Or will her new title get in the way? So many amazing twists and turns that kept me enthralled in this tale.

If you read the first book in this series, then you know we have been awaiting Leatha's story after everything that happened in the first book. Her and Billy have a lot to get through so there's some angst but it just pulls you in that yo u can't put it down. Can they get through all the obstacles so they can have their own happily ever after? Andie has a way of sucking you in and this is a totally different world where you can get lost in. Loved it!

This is the 1st book I've read written by Andie Long; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Well you can't have the story of one twin and not the other can you. But we also find out a little about the past of the ruling family. Adored these little stories.

This was a great addition to the series. I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing more of Andalusian and the growth of the sisters, as individuals and as a ruling unit. I highly recommend this series.
