Kandy Shepherd writes the best romantic, gorgeous stories, stories that will take you on a journey of love and happiness, with a few hurdles to cross getting there, and this story is set in Sydney and the small country of Montovia, I do hope you love Natalia and Finn as much as I did.
Princess Natalia has been bought up to abide by all of the princess rules, but when she gets the chance to play hooky from princess duties and become ordinary Natalie and fly to Sydney with her brother Tristan and his wife to attend a friend’s wedding she never dreams that will meet the love of her life Finn, but duty calls and Natalie becomes a princess again and returns home very sad.
Finn O’Neill is attending his friend’s wedding, he is a successful business man with a fabulous family, he has been burnt by a long distance love before and finding love is not in his sights at this time, but when he spots a gorgeous blonde at the wedding he knew he needed to meet her, but when she is gone the next day he never forgets her. Three months later he is in Montovia to do business when he discovers the woman he has never forgotten.
Finn and Natalia are perfect for each other, if they can overcome the obstacles that come with being royalty but when cupids arrow strikes love will find a way. This is a story that has so many beautiful emotions flowing from the pages, I loved Finn what a hero caring, kind and so very loving and Natalia is beautiful inside and out, if you have never read a Kandy Shepherd book you are missing out, I highly recommend this one, this one left me feeling very happy.

I'm a big fan of royal romances as well as a big fan of Kandy Shepherd's books. Suffice to say that this latest release had me smiling from ear to ear while reading it (and for quite a while afterward). It was lovely to meet some previous characters and settings in 'supporting roles', but I was most hooked by Princess Natalia and her Finn. I could totally understand both their opinions/situations and my heart ached for them. If two characters ever deserved a happy ending, it's these two who seem made for each other.
I would've devoured the novel in one go if I'd had the time.

Kandy Shepherd pens another wonderful story in her "Sydney Brides" series. In this one Princess Natalia in disguises as a non-royal Natalie Gardner so she can attend a friends wedding without causing a press storm. In Montovia she has rejected many who she should wed because she wants love and the happiness her brother has found. So she decides to keep her title a secret and this is the problem when she meets wealthy Finn O'Neill. She never tells him who is really is and when they meet again in Montovia months later ,needless to say Finn is angry over her deceit. He is there for a lucrative business deal but even though he is surprised to see her again he cannot get past the lies. Princess Natalia is longing for her romantic dream and believes Finn is the one to give it to her, how does she get him to forget the past and look into the future. It may seem insurmountable however Ms. Shepherd always delivers the best romance stories and this is another example of her pure genius. Leaves you with a sigh and a smile. a 5 star romance.

What a lovely book this is. It's like falling in love all over again.
When Finn falls in love with Natalia, he doesn't expect her to have a whole other life. Natalia can't marry on a whim or choose her own partner because she's a princess.
I loved reading this. Kandy Shepherd is a very skilled romance writer who never disappoints.

Finn is rich and handsome; Natalie is really a princess and beautiful, but she's using means to prevent people (read news photographers) from recognizing her when she attends a friend's wedding in Australia, far from her home where she is part of the royal family. Of course, these two fall for each other, but Natalia isn't really free to marry (gasp) a commoner. What's a girl to do?
She goes home, disappointed after deciding against losing her virginity to Finn's obvious charms. But months later, who shows up but him! Truly? And what are these two people going to do about it when she finally convinces him that she didn't want to leave without telling him, but she had no choice. When Finn finally decides to believe her, things get even more complicated. How they resolve it will not be a surprise.

Usually I don’t read stories about Royalty, but this time I did and boy what a lovely surprise this was. I loved this modern-day fairy tale! It was so well written and it all felt so real and true, that I almost googled Montovia. I loved reading about Finn, how he experienced his romance with Natalia. I enjoyed reading about Natalia, how free she felt when undercover. And the heartbreak and anxiety she felt about loving a “commoner”. All in all I can say that I adored this book and it gave me few wonderful hours reading about their love-affair.

I loved Kandy Shepherd's "Falling for the Secret Princess." Finn meets Natalie at a friends wedding. He knows the bride and she knows the groom. They hit it off and even switched place cards at the reception so that they could sit together. The next day when Finn goes to get Natalie she is gone without a note and without a trace. Fast forward two months and Finn is in Montovia to round up new business and he runs into Natalia Princess and second in line for the throne. She has some explaining to do, but the connection between these two is still there.
