Old folks sometimes ramble when they reminisce and tell stories. A baseball trivia-loving sportswriter hears a story about a little league team in the cornfields of Iowa that was once touched by the magic and legend of Babe Ruth and how afterwards, they never lost a game; in sixty-three years. This is a story about going home, finding home, and crossing homeplate, and not necessarily in that order.
