Rule applications to hypothetical and unusual situations, and official scoring problems to test your baseball IQ. Author inserted a Craig Nettles quote about playing for the NY Yankees: "When I was young, I wanted either to play baseball or join a circus. I've been lucky. With the Yankees, I've gotten the opportunity to do both." From the chapter, "Baseball Laughs and Gaffes."

Rules referenced in this book are sometimes outdated, as it was published in 1993.
