“For once, I wanted something whole and not a project I needed to piece together.”
When an intentional, whole man wants that same reflection in his woman and she’s not able to give him the reciprocity what’s he to do? Zahir and Solar continue their battle of wills when it comes to the should I or shouldn’t I dance. She’s fresh out of a relationship and while they shared an amazing night in book one, he knows that she’s not ready to give him what he deserves especially since she’s still grieving the loss of her previously failed relationship.
The connection between these two is clear however fear has them at a standstill.
I know Solar had issues she needed to heal from but I wasn’t a fan of the way this woman was begging and running down on Zahir in order to convince him that they could work. She was chasing this man a lil too much for me and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Do some men deserve to be chased? Absolutely. But after you reject me as much as Zahir did Solar whether he didn’t want to deep down, it’s time to chuck the deuces.
They both frustrated me but I’m glad when it was all said and done they quit playing and decided to give love a try.

Pursuing Love
This was a tease, but I still loved it.
After a few weeks Solar has found the confidence to seek out Nahzir. Sis was ready to claim the man that she couldn't get off of her mind, despite him asking that she give herself time to heal. When it came down to it, he couldn't really tell her no because he was feeling her just as much as she was feeling him.
I loved the poem Solar wrote for Nahzir. These two give that BIG signature love from Grey even though. They aren't there yet. Lastly, I loved how Hunter was humbled badly 🤣🤣 The egg in his face was deserved.

bit of a spoiler
I loved this book just as the first one. However, even though I get Nahzir’s hesitancy to start something with Solar being fresh out of a 4 year relationship, I don’t like how mean and rude he was being about it. It kinda took a star away because all I wanted was for her to jump in her G63 and burn out on his grumpy self. Whole time he telling her to leave she begging him like they shot marbles together back in the day. On to the next one cause I gotta see how this thing goes!

Such a great story!
Oh my stars! This series has me absolutely smitten, a delightful little romance that's short and oh-so-sweet. I'm head over heels for the characters Solar and Nahzir, though Hunter seems to have really stepped in it this time. Solar deserves to be showered in affection, the lucky duck!

Give me more. I love these two! I loveeee Nahzir but i love Solar’s confidence and aura. She was feminine yet strong knew when to be assertive and when to let him lead. I loved it.

I loved watching the power shift. Solar came in clear, confident and unwavering in what she wanted and Nahzir talked a big game about restraint only to fold exactly the way I needed him to. There’s something so satisfying about seeing a man who prides himself on control slowly realize he’s already lost. Those puppy dog eyes lol he didn’t stand a chance.
What really elevated this one for me was Solar standing ten toes down in her desire. She wasn’t asking, she wasn’t waiting, she was claiming her happiness and forcing Nahzir to confront the truth he’d been dodging. Watching him stop lying to himself was delicious.
🥰 the poetry between the two of them was the soft but lethal touch. It added depth, emotion and intimacy without slowing the pace. It made the connection feel electric, layered and earned.
This installment felt like tension unraveling in the best way vulnerability, desire and inevitability all colliding.

Hunter had the woman that most men can only dream about. She kept the house in order, sexed him on command, ran with the best in the body shape department, yet like most men, Hunter still wanted his peter to be a part of the community.
Solar finally got sick and tired trying to be perfect for a cat who couldn't reciprocate loyalty. Just for once, she wanted to say 🖕🏿it and let her hair down.
Although Nahzir was attracted to the broken type, he was very much struggling with his own brokenness. His last relationship left his mind in turmoil, making it hard for him to move on until he faced the guilt that was eating him alive.
Another series I enjoyed. I kinda felt cheated in the end, I just wanted a little more, an epilogue or something. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable read.

Listen! Nahzir put it on Solar, imparted some words of wisdom, and then left her to get it together before they could be "together." Solar was not having that! She done wormed her way into that man's heart the way he found a place in hers. And her ex, Hunter just continues to lose his stupid arse mind! Dumb cheating self wasn't this darn attentive when him and Solar was together, and now he wanna talk when he knows what kind of man Nahzir is?! I wish somebody would pack Hunter's arse in a box and FedEx his sorry excuse for a man behind somewhere far away. Let's see what Book 3 is about...

Title should’ve been Pick Me
The FMC is a “pick me pls” and it’s sad. The first story was meh. This one is cringy. It’s bad enough the story starts off with her coming to the realization that she has been dumb for a dude for years but instead of her learning and trying to be better for herself, she is stuck on stupid literally for the next swinging dick she lays eyes on. It’s sad and pathetic. The novella is super short and I skimmed it cause I was hoping somewhere she would have an ah-ha moment and pick herself instead of waiting for Nah to pick her. That unfortunately didn’t happen

Where is my Nahzir?? He completely change my girl Solar for the better
I love the new and improved Solar!! When she walked past Hunter like he didnt affect her not one bit, I was like yeah she's definitely over it. I get where Nahzir was coming from but he couldn't fight his feelings even if he wanted to. I need at least one more book about them. Idk what it could be about but a way to have closure on their story to where the reader isn't left wanting anymore. Book 1 and 2 definitely did that!!

No more hiding, no more conforming, no more. It’s time for the covers to come off, the head buried in the sand to pop out, the real Solar please stand up. The sun has risen and the true Solar is being revealed. When you have that epiphany that your life, man and family aren’t and haven’t been good for you and you’ve been suppressing yourself then you want all that you’ve been missing out on. It just so happens Solar has Nahzir to pull the covers off of her and the reveal is going to be one for the books!

Solar Takes Charge
A woman who goes after what she wants—I can appreciate that. A plan was devised. It didn’t go completely as expected, but she was able to pivot. Solar was relentless in her pursuit of Nahzir. As much as he tried to fight it, he didn’t stand a chance against a woman with her mind made up—and he enjoyed every minute of it. And Hunter! Ha ha ha. Chin up, chest out, my guy.

Keep it going!!
So short stories are growing on me...and this did not disappoint. As a fan of a good story or full novel of course I want more. But so much was given. Nahzir’s alpha-ness comes through and that is a plus. Solar becoming very sure of herself was refreshing. Can’t wait if there is more!!

Yes i would like more of them and longer also. I love how solar handles Hunter no good ass. He feels small and unwanted as he should. Nahzir belittles him on front of her on purpose so he knows not to mess with him. Solar has that power to draw those guys to her without a problem.

Solar and Nahzir and slowly becoming one of my favs. Nah has used his past experiences to ensure that his next love is his best love. Solar has recently been hurt but is determined to prove to Nah she is ready for something new. I would love to read a full novel about this couple.

Amazing short story!
Nahsir really left an impression on Solar and she was out to get him by any means necessary. She let him know that she wanted him and was not going to take no for an answer. Hunter has no chance now because she has gotten the chance to know what a real man is and it’s definitely not him. Love Nahsir and Solar together and would love to read more about them.

I love this story continuation! However, you are teasing me with these novellas! I want the beginning to end in one book. I absolutely love Solar and Nahzir! I hope the ending is everything. Confidence is definitely key when you're leveling up. I just hope Solar understands the position her and

Compelling Love Story
This couple is everything and more. I'm in love with these two. Nahzir demanding presence and Solar unrelenting force of nature. You get your man! These short reads are straight to the point, but I wish it was a novel instead. Oh wishful thinking and yes I'll read the third part. I recommend this set of novellas.

Getting more intriguing!
First off let me say Hunter is a simp! Move around dude you fumbled the bag. I love Solar and Nahzir together. Solar wants him and might as well get with the program! The chemistry between them is unmatched and I am enjoying it! Looking for more from these two Ms. Huffington!
