¸.•*´¨)
(¸.•´ ★Time for a change and a new start.

I was not ready for this. The author writes all ranges and I love her take on the interracial aspect with a dash of the paranormal. But, noooo!!! Someone call the police cus, uh, noooo!! I was not ready!!!! Cashel was a rich vamp who after years of losing his sire was now looking to sire and "...to make Braxton his first CHILE." Braxton worked in the mail room of Cashel's empire and the man was enamored with the boy, but Braxton wanted more. He had worked too hard and there was nothing being offered at his present company, so Braxton was moving on. But Cashel was not having it. He just didn't want Braxton, he needed him. What I didn't approve of the way he went about getting him. I won't lie, I cussed and rowed throughout this book at what went down, but I get the author's take on the story. The ending certainly redeemed itself.

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.

3.5 stars..A new author for me with this book. An okay short story written. Braxton didn't know what was ahead of him but he soon finds out that Vampires do exist. Cashel's okay with getting what he wants and cheats to achieve it.

Braxton 22 yrs wants to move on to a better job and hands in the resignation letter.
Cashel was a vamp and owned his company but he wanted a lover and a sire wanting Braxton to be his.

Even if you don't normally read vampire novels, you will want to read this. It is great! The characters reach out & pull you in to their world. You won't want to come out.
This is a world where vampires, yes vampires, are capable of love. Cashel has been looking for centuries for his "someone". Braxton just wants to advance his career from the mailroom to something that utilizes his skillset.. When he turns in his resignation, Cashel seizes this opportunity. He must make Braxton see him as a person who can make his dreams come true, forever. Watch Cashel woo him, making sure that when he asks Braxton to let him turn him, that Braxton says yes.
You will fall in love with this book. I did not want to put it down!
Is there violence and death. Yes. This is a vampire story. There is a callousness toward death, so necessary for survival. But Cashel's conscience when choosing his victims, is touching.
There is sex. Steamy MM sex. language, multi-racial romance and mature themes.
This book is intended for mature, 18+ readers only.

Resistance is futile

Cashel is my kind of vampire. He’s ruthless, demanding but with a soft spot for his mate. Braxton, on the other hand, needs a bit of...shall we say...encouraging to see the light. An intense but sexy battle of wills commences. These two are fierce together and I loved it!

Great Read

I really enjoyed this. The characters were really interesting, and I loved their interactions and personalities. Cashel was a charmer, and he knew it was only a matter of time before Braxton became his completely.
