Ryo and Dee continue to be themselves in the new unit. Meanwhile, the perpetrator of the serial child murder remains elusive. When a friend is kidnapped before his eyes, Bikky chases after the car and a dire situation unfolds. Who is the perpetrator? Will Bikky remain safe? Follow them as the plot twists from serious to heart pounding!!
There wasn’t much to this volume of Fake. The storyline was weak and I didn’t really feel any kind of tension or any kind of stakes for any of the characters. Also I find the relationship between Dee and Ryo is really tame in these newer volumes. You can barely tell they are a couple. I miss their relationship development that use to run parallel to the different cases that would come up in the series. I don’t know if I’ll continue but I have higher hopes for doing so as compare to Kimi wa Peto.
Bikky always follows his instincts. When he senses something wrong he follows it and he always knows that Ryo and Dee will always be there to help him out.
This is even better than series one! There's genuine suspense here. They've seemingly caught the serial killer... But his the case really over? I'll find out in volume 3! Hope we will see more development in Dee and Ryo's relationship, too.
