Yous Two

Rate this book

Fifteen-year-old Billie has lived with her dad in their little flat for as long as she can remember, but all that’s about to change. She’s got big plans – get Dad a job, sort out her grades, and live in a house with five bathrooms.

But one reckless night threatens to undo all her hard work and derail her ambitions… When it’s always been just the two of you, how easy is it to get out, or to let anyone else in?

A moving portrayal of what happens when those you should depend on need you more than you need them, Yous Two premiered at Hampstead Downstairs, London, in 2018.

Yous Two is Georgia Christou’s debut play. It was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award.

Really love this play, it’s so unique and the characters are written wonderfully; there’s so much depth to them and as an audience/reader you’re constantly conflicted between who is in the right and who is in the wrong. Ultimately, the characters have real humanity and I think that’s what makes the play so brilliant.
