Logan the Lion is a very disappointing book. The book is about Logan the Lion who roars every time he achieves something, this I only know from the book description as from the book he just constantly roared every time he did the simplest of tasks for who knows what reason!

The book does not explain that he is roaring to celebrate his achievement so it goes something like, Logan wakes up, roar, Logan cleans his teeth, roar, Logan eats breakfast, roar and on and on. The book becomes very boring and repetitive. I am all for positive reinforcement with behaviours and achievements but you can't celebrate literally everything you do as then you'll never really celebrate when something amazing is actually achieved.

The illustrations are fun and colourful and Logan seems like a lovely character but the story is so bad and uneventful that it doesn't really make up for it! This is not a book I'd recommend unless you want to see a lion roar for the duration of the book, very disappointing!
