Really good beginners preps for Emergency preparedness

This is a really good step by step guide to getting prepared for a major emergency. To do all steps with limited funds could take about 4 years.

Solid, practical, up-to-date advice. This is coming from an old 70s era Eagle Scout who spent a lot of time being miserable in the woods early in his scouting career.

Even though I already know quite a lot, I learned much more reading this book. The checklists and reference materials alone are invaluable. A great follow-on to this is the Kirkham Ross info comic series, which go into a little more depth. Very accessible, spot-on advice.

Unfortunately, in this book, many of the embedded links to Amazon products are out of date, but that’s an ongoing hazard.

If nothing else this short read will tell you how woefully underprepared most of us are in the event of an emergency that includes loss of any government services.
