This is an excellent book for the beginning astronomer who wants to know more and question more about the Planets. I would say that this book caters to the student who is in 5th, 6th and 7th grades. Besides having a lot of facts about the planets it also gets the young reader involved in some of the mysteries of the planets as to why they behave the way they do.

If I have any complaint about this book is that it is too short. However, at the end he includes an extensive bibliography where the interested reader could do more research. If you have a young child who is interested in the heavens this is a good book to get started on.

This book really helped me with astronomy, I enjoyed the book very much. I did not even know that Jupiter had rings but I learned it from this book. Great book!
