The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1884 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. It is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to support their worldwide work, which includes publishing Bibles and Bible-based literature.

According to its charter, the corporation’s purposes are “religious, educational, and charitable,” in particular, to “preach and teach the gospel of God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus.” Membership in the corporation is by invitation only and is not based on how much a person has donated. The corporation members and directors assist the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

This book teaches us some very valuable lessons as we look at the lives of whom some Bible scholars refer to as "The Minor Prophets".
Zephaniah and the other 11 so-called Minor Prophets lived with Jehovah’s day in mind. Considering their inspired writings at our Congregation Book Study as outlined in the book Live With Jehovah’s Day in Mind will help us to prepare for that fear-inspiring day.—Zeph. 2:2, 3.
This book has some rather unique features: Rather than focusing on symbolic meanings or verse-by-verse explanations of these 12 prophetic books, the Jehovah’s Day book explains how these inspired writings apply to real-life situations that we face every day.
It emphasizes why a sense of urgency should permeate all our decisions and actions. Matters of family life, relationships with fellow believers, entertainment choices, our ministry, and career decisions are brought into focus.
Section 1 of the book acquaints us with the 12 prophets and their writings. Who were they? What do we have in common with them?

“The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near, and there is a hurrying of it very much.” (Zeph. 1:14

Section 2 focuses attention on Jehovah and his qualities. What insight into Jehovah and his personality do these prophets provide?
Section 3 concentrates on our own conduct and dealings. How may we daily please God in practical ways?
Section 4 explains how to live joyfully while keeping in expectation of Jehovah’s day.
I learned some very valuable lessons in reading it.

Libro cortito pero con información interesante porque nos explica la relevancia de los llamados profetas menores de La Biblia y las cosas que están cumpliéndose o por cumplirse en nuestro tiempo. Estos hablan bastante del juicio de Jehová, es decir, del día en que Dios hará justicia a los mansos y cobrará venganza contra los malvados que no quisieron cambiar. Por eso nos da la oportunidad ahora de ponernos de su lado y ser obedientes, tal como la dió en el pasado a los judíos e israelitas que se habían alejado de él o que por descuido o falta de fe, creyeron que ya Dios no intervendría ni a su favor ni para castigarlos. De ahí que sus palabras no solo hayan tenido un cumplimienro histórico, sino que hay muchos paralelos aplicables a nuestra época, de prioridad para nuestro análisis hoy y asi poder reconocer el tiempo en el que estamos viviendo (o sea, estar pendientes) y lo cerca que estamos de la restauración del paraíso que se perdió y la gobernación perfecta, tanto en los cielos como en la tierra, de nuestro Rey Jesucristo, puesto ahí por el Todopoderoso.
