Kronick is a Professor at the University of Tennessee in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, the Director of University Assisted Community Schools, and an Adjunct faculty member in the Haslam Scholars Programs. Kronick has written about dropouts, University Assisted Community Schools, at-risk youth, and migrant/seasonal farm workers.
