I found the book to be really insightful. Though I couldn’t relate to the military experiences myself, reading about the takeaways from each experience was a great learning opportunity. One of the key takeaways for me was to always take accountability of your mistakes. I really enjoyed this book overall and I think the lessons inside of it will stay with me for a while.

Calculated Risk Taker

Great Read, easy to pick up. I was able to get through this in two evenings. Enjoyed the first hand accounts and the risks the Author took to get the Silver Wings.

Such a quick but engrossing read. I particularly enjoyed layman’s explanations for military jargon I didn’t know. Positive, well-written accounts of his experiences and the lessons we may all take from them. Also, Go Heels!!! 💙🐏💙

New pilots should read this early in training. I wish I had. Normalizes many of the challenges/experiences faced.
