This is a beautiful love story about Libby, who has had a tough life and it seems to only be getting harder. She lost both parents, fought cancer and is an owner of a school teaching young children. Only problem is she needed money and went to some shady people, the Scarlucci’s and they are wanting their money back! One of her students, Toby is an adorable 4 year old and Libby knows his father, Mason and all the media has reported on him. Mason is a widower and has keep himself busy with his many successful businesses and lives to raise his son. He knows Toby’s teacher is beautiful and finds himself having feelings for her. Mason has a secret that not many know and once he attends the funeral of the man, Arnold Zeffari who taught him about being a man things get crazy. Both the Zeffari and Scarlucci families are feuding crime families and once some facts become to light it gets dangerous for all of them. Libby, Toby and Mason are thrown together and secrets are shared and they are on a journey of survival that leads them to love, happiness, destruction, evilness, and several twist you will not see coming! This was a lovely story with great characters. I loved how their interactions were written because they felt real. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Overall this was a good read. Libby finds herself in trouble. She meets Mason who is willing to try and help her. At first she is stubborn but in the end they fight this together. Thankfully in the end it all works out and they get their HEA.

Twisted
I couldn't believe how much was going on in this story. It was in no way clear cut, straight forward romance. Mob families, loan sharks, people with darker pasts, it all came together in a twisted, incredible story.

This novel was distinct.
Why?
A different spin on a familiar trope... but is it really familiar?
First of all, I really liked the hero. A man with a past, but his internal compass kept his past from being his present.
The heroine was very familiar, a young woman who experienced a rather large personal tragedy, and come through it stronger and a fighter. However, this life event did change her, she became very independent and unwilling to ask for help. This occurs unfortunately, after she makes a decision to fix financial issues though a dangerous organization. Feeling she had no choice, the choice eventually begins to threaten her sanity and her existence.
Mason, the hero, meets Libby, the heroine, when she buys his son's preschool.
While Mason grew up from his past and with help from an unlikely source, became a wealthy business man. He also has an amazingly strong positive attitude and seldom takes himself to seriously. These attributes help him become successful, not only in business, but as a loving single father.
He meets Libby and is immediately taken by her, he likes her care for the children, let alone his son, her ability to teach but care for the children in her care. But, Libby is dealing with her past mistake and it suddenly becomes to much.
Mason uses his past connections to help. This was unsuccessful and made the situation much more serious.
Together they must face her past, by using his allies to save her. This begins a fast moving game of chance.
The unexpected becomes regular, and almost daily they are running from trouble, while taking Mason's son with them.
It moves very quickly, at times, I was concerned too fast, did I miss something? After reading, a second time, the storyline moved more smoothly. It simply was so fast paced you could almost over read, think about what was coming and miss actual happenings.
Accidental Kiss is truly a happily ever after. It takes some time to get there, and together, the hero and heroine get their HEA, and more.
I enjoy Mia Ford's writing! This was a departure from other novels I have read by this author, but it was an enjoyable one.
I loved a hero who wasn't all alpha but also knew when and how to help, as well as his positivity and intelligence.
The heroine simply tried doing what was needed,, unfortunately that lead to a decision that she couldn't pay. Yet, Libby did not trying to keep her self moving forward. I liked her integrity and strength, but everyone reaches a breaking point, and Mason was there to help her through.

I absolutely loved the newest addition from Mia Ford,,,, what a story,,,,, !!!
Mason Savage owns Savage Enterprises and has been in commercial real estate for 10 years and is now going on to build hotels and casinos in all the major cities in the USA ,,,, He has a 4 year old son named Toby whose mother died when he was very young,,,, His dad has him signed up for preschool and Mason takes him there and picks him up every day and then spends the rest of the day with his son until Toby goes to bed and then Mason goes into his home office and starts working again,,,, recently a man who took Mason under his wing and steered him away from the life he was proceeding into in the form of the mafia life,,,, The Zeffaris Mafia was where Mason had started as a low man but Arnold Caplinger put Mason into a position that had Mason on the right path but he never forgot where he was from,,,,, now he wants a better life for he and his son Toby and maybe, just maybe he will find a mother for Toby,,,,, and he has his eye on the preschool teacher Miss Libby Norris,,,,,,

Mason’s company, Savage Enterprises, had been successful in commercial real estate for almost ten years, so he was extremely excited at the next step -- building hotel casinos in every major city in the United States. Returning to his desk, his thoughts turned to Libby Norris, his 4-year-old son’s preschool teacher. Up until now, the women he had dated had not really seemed like good “mom” replacements for Toby. But Libby Norris was the exception. She loved Toby and he loved her too. Now if he could just get up the nerve to ask her out!
Libby and Toby were putting away the last of the toys in the classroom when Mason arrived to pick him up. Libby had been attracted to the man from the start, loving the way he interacted with his son. Accidental Kiss is the second book in the Accidental Hook-Up series. I read the 2021 published version of the book. I do not know if there are changes or edits to it from the original publishing in 2019.
The story is about Libby Norris and Mason Savage and his four year old son Toby. Mason has been a single father ever since his beloved wife Gina OD'd three years ago. Mason loves Toby and ever since that night it has just been the two of them. Sure he has dated and had a few short term relationships but nothing that ever felt right. Libby is a preschool teacher who has Toby in her class. Toby immediately took to the new teacher and it seems that Mason is having the same reaction, as he is like an awkward teenager again when he is around her. Libby is attracted to Mason, as who wouldn't be since he is literally "sex-on-a-stick" and a successful billionaire to add to it. Plus she admires his obvious love for and devotion to Toby, who is a sweet and vibrant little boy. Libby has her own problems also as she has had a harder life and it only getting harder still.
This is a sweet romance about two people who are both dealing with heartbreak in their lives but maybe they are ready to move one with each other. Add in cute and sweet Toby and you have a beautiful family. But there are still forces that will need to be dealt with before they can all walk into the sunset together.

What an enjoyable book it had it all the twists and turns and danger from crime familys throughout kept me drawn in, Mason and his son Toby have a pretty comfortable life together after loosing his wife to a drug overdose so now it’s all work and being with his son and that’s where he meets Libby his preschool teacher and now he wants to get to know her much more. Libby enjoys her job teaching kids very much and doesn’t want to loose it but one mistake getting involved with a loan shark that belongs to the Scarluccis crime family could cost her her job and life if she doesn’t pay them back soon. But one of the perks about her job is that she gets to see Toby’s dad Mason and what a hottie he is and the wild nights they have shared together in her fantasies anyway the threats are coming more frequently and her friend Marla suggests that she ask Mason for the money but she can’t do that but he offers to help with some friends he knows the Zeffairs crime family and get them to get the others to back off and give her more time but that didn’t go down very well and now they are on the run. Does everything work out between them and how can they stop the mob from killing them and do they get there HEA read this thrilling book to find out.

This book was a bit different than the past one, but it was good. This book is about Mason and Libby who meet as she is his son’s teacher but has an attraction that neither know how to deal with. Libby is the owner of this pre-k school and loves what she does; however, she also dealt with some health issues that she ended up obtaining money from loan shark who now wanted to eat her up. Mason on the other hand is a single billionaire dad, whose story about his first love is sad, but he is someone that could help her out if she just asked, but she is too stubborn and at the end is in a fight to keep her living as the mob is trying to kill her. There is a lot of action in the story, a lot of mobsters die and all for one woman who couldn't pay off her loan and a billionaire who has ties with the rival mob.
The story is somewhat unrealistic as there were so many options for them both to be killed but it doesn’t happen, and luck is all they can count on. I have always loved Mia’s books, but I was twisted with this one, the title should have been named Accidental Luck instead of Kiss, as their kiss wasn’t so much accidental. Overall the story is good it keeps wanting to know what’s next. As always it does have a happy ending, and thankfully nothing happens to the son.

Lots of action and intrigue. Them against the mafia
I liked the basis of this story. Libby and Mason had some good and not so good stuff going on. It was a crazy roller coaster ride. I did feel like it took a long time to get where it was going. There were parts that were more detailed than they needed to be and others not enough, like when they first told each other they loved one another. That seemed glossed over. I also had a hard time when Libby blamed Mason for her circumstances. That was all on her and anything that happened even after Mason tried to help was still all on her. She needed to own that throughout the story and not just occasionally.
Libby is a preschool teacher that has made a terrible decision and gotten herself involved with the mob. Mason is a widower with a young son in Libby's class. Mason is attracted to Libby and she is to him but they keep second guessing making a move. That is until Libby is in serious trouble and Mason tries to help as much as she will let him. Danger presents itself and Mason feels the need to protect Libby and to do that she hides out with him at his house. This close proximity changes the dynamic of their relationship and feelings surface that move them toward each other. They are now running from the mob and navigating a new relationship.

Libby teaches at the preschool where Mason takes his son. He wants to ask her out but can't seem to find the words. Libby doesn't want romance right now - she is trying to get the mob off her back. She had to borrow money from a loan shark who turned out to be part of a mob family and now they want their money and are tired of waiting. Mason offers to give her the money but she refuses. So he offers to call the rival mob familly in the area and ask them to help get Libby more time. This backfires and Libby's life is now in danger. Mason vows to do everything he can to help her because he feels this is his fault. The two of them end up having to run away when Mason's picture is posted on social media and the news attending the funeral of a suspected mob boss. The more they run the farther in love they fall. This story is a rollercoaster ride of emotion and is well worth reading. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a book with love, danger and a happy ending.

Mason is a renowned billionaire, has a reputation as a playboy and has his hand in every business imagable because he gets bored easily. He lose his wife tragically and has a four year old son that he loves to bits. He always makes time for his son and that's admirable.
Libby is a pre-school teacher, she has enough problems of her own and has been through enough of her own difficulties. Mason's son is in her class and when he comes to pick up his son after school, he gets too nervous to speak to Libby ( which I think is Soo cute)
He is this confident man in business and gets nervous when he wants to speak to a woman he likes.....Awwww....so sweet...... Libby borrowed money from some unsavory people and now they want payment, which she doesn't have. Mason comes to her rescue and they go on an amazing journey together. This story has plenty of steam, suspense, intrigue, a second chance and a guaranteed HEA. Beautiful story.

I totally loved this book. It had wonderful characters, a good plotline, lots of action, a few twists and romance! Libby was an incredible preschool teacher who owned a Pre-K school. She had a great kid in her class named Toby who was the son of a billionaire, Mason, who had lost his wife when Toby was less than 1yr old. Libby had had Cancer 2 years before but had beat it. The result was she had to borrow a large sum of money to pay some bills but no legitimate sources would take a chance on her! She ended up borrowing from the Scarlucci mob and they decided they wanted their money back now. She was a proud, stubborn, generally tight-lipped woman. She finally broke down and told Mason her situation because she was going to close the school and sell it. Mason offered to help and this is where the fun, craziness, scariness, etc. starts. This is one book you don't want to miss out on.

He has ties to some seriously bad people as well, but has tried to leave all of that behind him. He has also decided to make a move on the woman he's been after for awhile, his son's preschool teacher Libby. When the mob comes after Libby, Mason has no choice but to step in. Of course fireworks are flying everywhere but danger is right around the corner. When Libby, Mason and Mason's son Toby have to go on the run, everyone is in trouble. But will it ever end? Love always conquers, but it comes with danger too. Super hot book and a great read.

This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Mason and Libby’s story. Mason is a widower, and a successful businessman, who is a single dad to his little 4-years old son Toby. Libby is fun, sassy, and caring, and she has had a tough life, but she loves that she is the owner of a school teaching young children, and Toby is one of her pupils’. When Libby was in a bind after financing her cancer treatments, she borrowed money from some shady people, and now her life is in danger as they want their money back. There is an intense chemistry between Mason and Libby, and he will do whatever he must to protect and keep her safe. This is a great addition to this series and this story is filled with danger, secrets, suspense, twists, action, and love, which all leads to a steamy and entertaining page turner. I look forward to reading more form this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Mason is a single father raising his son Toby. When dropping Toby off at preschool he can't help but let his eyes linger a little longer than necessary on Libby, Toby's teacher. Mason can sense Libby is hiding something and that she needs help but he doesn't want to push her. He can only sit back for so long before he steps in wanting to help. He doesn't realize the trouble Libby is in will take him back to a past he wants to forget but regardless, he's ready to help. With Libby under his protection, he can't help but get closer to her as time goes on. Not only does he enjoy Libby being around, Toby does as well. When the time comes, will he be able to let Libby go?
This was a really enjoyable read. The story is well written and entertaining. Loved the characters and the chemistry they had.

I liked this romance that started out as a simple “single daddy/teacher” story that turned a little dark and sinister with the introduction of the mob.
When mob boss Arnold Zeffari suddenly dies of “cardiac arrest” it sets off a chain reaction of events that pulls Mason back into a lifestyle he had worked hard to get out of.
His attraction to his son’s favorite preschool teacher further complicated things as she was in debt to a loan shark and time was running out.
The development of their subsequent love affair amidst their dangerous involvement with two warring factions of the mob kept this romance a true page turner.

I seriously cannot believe how amazing the story line for this book was. At first you think you have it all figured out and then bam...big twist. The connection that Libby and Mason have is just out of this world and having Toby in the mix just sweetens the deal. Libby finally opening up to Mason about her problem with the loan shark/mafia was amazing and the way he took care of her is double amazing. I could not put the book down...up till 2am trying to get another chapter in. The ending was phenomenal but I wish there was an epilogue three years down the line to see how there lives continued. Mia Ford has serious skill with writing and you will not be disappointed.

When she learns that its the mafia that she owes the money to they are already threatening to hurt her and her loved ones. Mason is attracted to his son's teacher and is stunned when his son tells him that the school is closing. When he learns why he immediately wants to help which ends up making things worse. Can they get their HEA with all the obstacles in their way?
This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Suspenseful Single Dad Romance. I received this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. WOW I love the way Mia writes, she makes her characters come alive and has you on the edge of your seat page after page with twists and turns, of course danger involved in this intense read. Single dad Mason his son Toby and teacher Libby. She has had a rough time of things and now is in trouble, can she trust Mason enough to let him in on what is happening and will Mason share his secrets as well. Their chemistry is hot and will they be able to act on these feelings with in danger. I am sure you will not be disappointed so you will need to pick it up and see for yourself on what happens. What is not to love about a billionaire that gets tongue tied in the presence of a play school teacher everytime he picks up his 4 year old son.
Mason would love to ask Libby Norris out on a date but he can't seem to get many words to come out of his mouth in her presence. Little Toby adores his teacher.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Life interruptions were not my friend and I could not wait to get back to reading this book.

Accidental Kiss. This book was enjoyable. I loved the characters and their drama. Having a hero step in and save you from mistakes you've made in desperation. Libby borrowed money from a loan shark and can't pay them back. Now they want their money. If they don't get it things will happen. Along comes Mason(billionaire) who has a son in Libby's classroom. He finds out and wants to help because he has ties with mafia that are rivals with the loan shark. Things get heated and the alpha in Mason helps save Libby and begins a new relationship with them. OMG! Talk about braking the bank. This author can spin it with a realism thats breathtaking. She poured it on when she created this amazingly strong storyline with such a perfect balance in the characters bringing them alive before your eyes. When the sparks start to fly, best watch for the flames. The personalities are well matched and brought together smoothly. The scenes were so vividly detailed that it paints a majestic backdrop that feels like watching everything in 3D. Throw in some twists and turns and a few surprises and watch the world light up. there's action , drama , 2 Mafia rival gangs , angst , regret , suspense and so much more in this good read from Mia , Libby and Mason are great characters in this romance book , they first meet because his son Toby attends the school she owns , after a bit she admits she is selling the school to pay her debt to the Mafia , but it all goes down hill when he tries to help by using his Mafia connections , a roller coaster of a ride begins with her dodging bullets , hiding out at his place and in between they manage some romance , a good red with a good storyline and characters with chemistry , a must read

Wow!!! Mia Ford has done it again with her unbelievable writting skills!!!👏🏾 I really loved reading this book!! This book was so addictive and kept me on this emotional roller coaster!!! This book was well written and I couldn’t put it down! This story was full of suspense and kept wonder when the other shoe was going to drop in the storyline!!🤯 I loved the family dynamite in this book as well!! 😘I also loved Libby and Mason love affair they had together!! I loved this book and definitely recommend it!! So good!! Great read can’t wait for the next book!!!😊
